Rory, thank you very much for joining us. A round of 69 today, two underpar. Just give us your assessment overall of your play today. Yeah, I felt um I definitely got the ball in play a little bit more off the tea. Um you know, so that it was nice to have a a few more looks from the fairways. Um but yeah, overall it was, you know, the wind it was it was tricky enough. The wind was was up for um for quite a part of the round. And it looks like it’s died now with with the rain coming in. But um yeah, overall happy with how I played. You know, I feel like I could be a couple of shots closer to the um to the leader, but um you know, I’m here for the weekend, which is a lot better than um it was last time we were at Port Rush and you know, I’m excited to make a run over the the last two days. Generally, when you’re at the cart, we tend to show you great shots into the green, long drives. Today I want to concentrate on a chip shot you hit at second and ask you how big a part chipping is in your success as a player because it seems to me it’s an an underrated skill of yours. Yeah, I um yeah I yeah it probably is. I’m um I feel like I’m pretty good around the greens. Um and you have to be so creative. You have to play a lot of different shots um you know on these screens. These it’s funny here at Port Rush they’re they’re I’ve never experienced a set of link screens like it cuz they’re of how slopy they are. Um usually link screens are are quite flat for the most part. So you have to be a little bit creative and and try to play some different shots and you know that’s something I I feel like I’m pretty good at. Your 10th birthday present was to come and play here. Tomorrow you’ll go out over the weekend have a chance to win an open championship with the support of a nation behind you. just what goes through your mind when you think about the 10-year-old boy and where you are now. Yeah. Um it’s been an unbelievable journey. Um yeah, not in my wildest dreams that I think that this was the way my life was going to pan out. I, you know, had dreams and visions of being a professional golfer and trying to win tournaments, but um, you know, to to play in an open championship here, um, and honestly to to feel like you have the support of the entire nation behind you, um, I feel very lucky, very grateful. Um, you know, I’m I’m I’m excited for the opportunity over the next two days. We’re excited to watch you. Appreciate your time as always. Thanks. Yeah.
