In this video, I talk through my bag set up that I have been using for the 2025 season. I have been experimenting with a few different ideas which are gradually coming together nicely. Im not recommending anyone else follow these ideas but maybe something in here could give you something to think about potentially!

Over 2 years on since I last made a what’s in the bag video and I’m here with a completely different set of clubs with not one of them the same as it was back then. Hello and welcome back to the channel. Yes, it is fair to say that a lot has changed. If somebody offered me any choice of any club, it would probably end up being the same set as what I have here. So, I’ve done something that pretty sure no one else has ever done before. So, basically Mizuno have seven different models in their range. Yeah, you can probably see where this is going. I have built a four to pitch wedge set with each IM being a different model. So, I’ve got the four iron, which I don’t actually keep in my bag. That is the hot metal, which is Mizuno’s most forgiving iron. Then in the five iron, I’ve got the hot metal pro. Six iron is the JPX forge. Seven is the 245. Eight is the 243. Nine is the tour, the 923 tour. And then the pitch wedge is the blade, which is the 241. Basically, the heads just get less and less forgiving as you go down into the shorter irions. I actually only had to change a couple of lofts, only like a degree or two. Like I say, there wasn’t really too much tweaking in that department. And when you put the four iron down next to the pitching wedge, obviously there is quite a bit of a difference there that you’re going to see. But moving from one iron to the next, there isn’t actually too much of a difference there. For the shafts in them, I did keep these all the same and they are all consistent. I went with the steel fibers in the 110 which are made by Aerotech and they’re like a half steel half graphite combo. Now, as I said, I did pull out the four iron because that is about 17° and I impulse bought a Knight 2 iron. This is the same model as what Brooks Kepka and Tony Fine actually still use. Now, it is a bit more of a collectible item at this point. But it does actually still go like a rocket, but I just prefer the idea of a driving iron, so putting a graphite TPT hybrid shaft in it, and I have customized it a bit, but I have been getting a bit of hate for this online. But I actually really like how it turned out, and I would probably say it’s one of my favorite clubs in my back. Now, at the other end of my bag into the wedges, I thought going 50, 54, 58 to fit in with my pitching wedge at 45° would make sense. That’s what I originally did. And then I was finding that I had about a 20 25 yard gap between my pitching wedge and the 50. And just at the time it worked out quite well actually that somebody I knew was selling a 46 degree vokey. So I took that off his hands and that pretty much just fills the gap perfectly between what I need. Did slap a load of lead tape on the back of them as well just because I prefer the head feeling a bit heavier. Then with the 58 I actually went with a Callaway jaws. Did tell you that I have got quite a mixed set. I just like the high toe options that they do. Obviously Vokey don’t do that at the minute. Mainly just use that out of bunkers really more than anything. Now, actually, since I recorded this, I decided to add back in my old 58 degree Mazuno. And I found a high toe in 58 degree as well instead of the Callaway. So, the Mizuno has four degrees of bounce and the high toe has 15. And with the 58, I only really use that out of the bunkers. And I’ve been finding that most of the courses that I’ve played this year either have a load of sand in them or basically no sand at all. So, the extreme bounces give me a lot of versatility rather than being stuck with either not enough or too much bounce every time. The shafts in them are all 120 stiff. The grips are all over the place at the minute. I have these pure ones on the 54 50 and my jaws in the 58. But then with the 46, which I only really hit on the four, I just have the same grip as I have in my irons and my woods. Now, the grips are actually the same all the way through the bag, apart from on the wedges and obviously on the putter. I actually also put seven layers of tape on the bottom hand, so it’s basically like a plus seven. And on top of that, I also added some ribs down the back, which basically makes it like an align grip. They are actually quite cheap and it is pretty easy to do it. Then I also heard off someone that Zach Johnson puts a toothpick down the front. So of course I had to give that a go myself. Don’t know if you can see it on that grip quite or not, but you can definitely feel it and it just acts as a reminder. So when you’re placing your hands down, you can really feel it and it just gets them setting in the same position every time. Then the last thing on the grips is that I did actually put them sideways with the Golf Pride logo pointing to the side on these Golf Pride grips. I don’t know if it’s the same with all Golf Pride actually, but there’s basically a seam going all the way down the side of them, what should be the side. So, as you put that down the front, so basically gives you a straight line that you can see quite easily, actually. And I just feel like that’s easier to line up than it is using the Golf Pride logo. But again, it’s pretty much just a weird setup, the super weird bag. Then moving on to the driver, and I am dead set this year on the Wilson Dino Power. For me, this year, it’s definitely the one that feels the best and definitely sounds the best for me. And more importantly, it was giving me the best most consistent numbers. There’s maybe a couple of other drivers that might go slightly a bit further, but for distance and dispersion and consistency, it was by far the Wilson. When I did try them all out at the start of the year, I was kind of in between the carbon model and the LS. I ended up just taking out the heavier weight out the LS and putting that in the front of the carbon and then using the lightest one that they do with the 3 g at the back and then 12 g at the front, which almost gets it playing like in between the carbon and the LS. So, it kind of just gives you best of both worlds. So, it’s still got the forgiven head, but it makes it slightly lower spinning with the heavier weight in that. I’ve got the TPT shaft again in the 17 high which is basically like a 60 g stiff and this is playing about 45 and 1/2 in which is like quarter an inch shorter than most standards. I’m definitely happy with how this has been going this year. The same though unfortunately can’t really be said about the 3-wood. This is probably the only club that I would potentially change. So I actually have ditched the 3-wood altogether to make room for that extra wedge that I added in. So I now just go driver and then straight into my two iron as a backup off the T. Now that does bring me on to the final club of my 2025 bag. Now, this is somewhat tricky as to decide on which one to stick with. As the only one to be using an arm lock, it does narrow down what I can actually use, which is when I did stumble across this Kantic Neutron, it’s called, which is a new French brand. And I will be doing a separate video on this by itself at some point. But as you might have seen, the most interesting thing about this, I think, is this little thing at the back. So, this actually lets you change the lie angle on it. And changing the lie angle, it actually remains fully balanced even when you change it. I’ve actually got a Lab DF3 as well in an arm lock and I was using that for a bit. I do actually really like that as well. But just got to say this with the carbon face is just a bit easier to control the pace on it. I should say from like 10 15 foot they’re pretty similar. Maybe prefer the design on this slightly as well. Just kind of suits my eye a bit more behind the ball. But it is a tough pick to go between the two. So that’s the club side of things taken care of. Now for the ball situation, I have actually really been liking Snell Golf. I’ve actually swapped to the Prime 3.0, 0 which is more like a prov1. And these just feel really good off the face. They fly nicely and they seem to have quite a bit of spin on them as well. The only downside I think to these is that they maybe just chip slightly easier. When you’re losing a ball like every nine holes or something, I don’t really think that matters too much. Yeah, Mr. Snell, who did come up with Snell Golf, was actually original finder of the Prov1 ball back in 2000. He went separate ways and come up with his own golf ball. So, if you haven’t tried them, I definitely recommend giving them a go. And then just for like the last few bits in my bag for anybody still watching, anybody still interested. Got obviously my two alignment sticks there with the alignment stick cover which is a Tailmade Pac-Man limited edition one. And we have a Titus players glove which I think is probably the softest gloves around. I’ve got a Sigman rangefinder. I have done a video on that comparing it to a Bushnull if anybody wants to check that out. Got my Magic T which is basically like an old school rangefinder on the side there. I have done a short on that if you want to see how it works. That’s also got an unlimited pencil on it. so it never runs out of lead. The last thing is pretty much just an absolute array of different ball markers and pitch mark repairers. For the very last thing, my mate has actually got his own company and he started making different like football merchandise if you like. So he does things like the scorecard holder which as you can see is a Liverpool branded one and he does other things like towels, head covers, even polo tops, quite a few other different things. And he has given me a discount code which I will put down below if you do want to check any of that out. Yeah, that has been what’s in my bag for 2025. Hope you enjoyed watching the video. As usual, thanks for watching. I’ll see you all in the next video.

That was a great insight mate. I might rival you for different brands in the bag. 😅 You missed what bag and push/pull set up. I'll take credit for the Graphite pencil😂 Play well!
