I never moved anywhere. [Applause] I am a fourth year sport science student at TUT doing my advanced diploma and I’m a mixed martial artist at EFC and I’m the current flyweight world champion. [Applause] Coming out of 18 stars, Billy Van Royan, what a talent he is. On May 8th of 2025, Billy Fenroyan stepped out to challenge for the EFC flyweight title. An absolute finisher. Billy Van Roy says he’s going to leave it all in the cage. Much was on the line. A dream nurtured since the age of seven. Finally within his grasp. Cleverson Sua they call him Fleinho ran off six in a row. Boy, has he got an opponent that’s going to bring the line out here? Defend yourself at all times. Such class want to go to a corner. Beautiful right now and the champion. Absolutely incredible. [Applause] [Music] [Applause] I made a promise to myself when I was younger and said, “Listen, I am going to make a profession out of this sport. I’m going to be the most successful fighter there is and I am not planning on giving up on that dream.” The greatest of the green and gold jersey has never faltered on this gown. [Music] Victoria, all my friends are from here. Everyone um that supports me. [Applause] This is one of my high school friends. pink. [Music] Most of my family is also here in Ptoria. This is my my beautiful but also angry mother. We both were in the same class in grade three and then since then we’ve just been inseparable. It’s actually a funny story. We met on um Instagram. I only found out he did kickboxing after he came back from a tournament which he won. My parents, they make sure that I’m always eating right, staying motivated. They just gave their all. I will be forever grateful for them. [Music] This title is very, very precious to me. It’s one of my goals that I have to accomplish for me to keep the belt and defend the belt. I will do it with everything that I got. Will never underestimate anyone who’s trying to face me for the bout because if you need to fight for the bout, you need to be worth it. I am definitely definitely preparing very very hard for this fight. [Music] On August the 7th, South Africa’s Philip and Royan once again steps out to face an international foe. samurai.
