I strongly believe that I’ve found the best place to buy secondhand golf club gloves in 2025. And I’ve bought a full set inside this very box. Guys, in today’s video, I’m going to talk you through the purchase process. I’m going to talk through delivery process. We’re going to unbox these bad boys, take them in the studio, see just how well they perform, and of course, take them out here at a beautiful Wally Park Golf Club. That could be close. Oh. to see if I’ve made the best purchase ever or if I’ve wasted a little bit of money. Let’s go to the family holiday where my wife very lovingly let me purchase these clubs. Okay, today you join us on a little family UK mini break. And just like any avid golfer, I get a little bit bored. So today I’m going to spend a little bit of money buying a secondhand set of golf clubs. Now this isn’t just going to be any set of secondhand golf clubs. This is a huge challenge and it’s going to be a huge series. So guys, make sure you stay tuned. But we are of course talking about Callaway pre-owned. So without any further ado, let’s log on to the Callaway Pre-Owned website, if I can spell it right, and let’s see just exactly what golf clubs we’re going to buy. So you see guys, Callaway Pre-Owned, you can sell your clubs back to them. You can trade, you can trade up. But what I’m looking for here is a good fairly budget set of secondhand clubs that we can then take out into a couple of challenges. And there is a huge special guest in this series. So make sure you stay tuned for that. But first of all, let’s look at building this bag. And let’s start with I’m going to start with a putter. So putters, as you can see, we have a couple of different AI1 putters. We have a couple of different mil putters and we have we have a couple of two balls as well. Now I’m going to set myself a little bit of a budget here. And the special guest is going to have a similar budget as well. So I’m not going to go too heavy on the putter. Right. So we’ve found a white hot Versa 7S putter. And what’s the condition? The condition is good. And that is 129. That will go straight into the basket. And now let’s have a look for some wedges. Right. Wedges. So wedges are an interesting one because there’s lots of bounces, lots of grinds, lots of different kinds of lofts here as well. We know we’ve got the new Opus from Callaway. They’re not coming at a bad price actually from £93. And I’m going to go Oh, what’s this here? Is that mine? Oh, thank you ever so much. There you go, sir. Did my wife not bring it? No, she’s got Betsy. Oh, cheers. Thank you very much. Right. Right. Opus brushed chrome wedges. And there’s lots of different options here to have. I’m just going to go with two a two wedge setup actually because I know strategically what I want in my irons. So, I’m going to go with So, I’m going to go with a 54 degree nippus mo nip nippus modus. And that’s coming out very good. 110. We’ll have you add to the cart. And then we’re going to go a 60 degree wedge. If I go back over here and the 60° I want, do I want a lot of bounce? I’m going to go 10° of bounce on this one. And that’s like new. That’s 120. will go with that quite nicely. So that’s nice and standard loft and standard length as well. That’s a really good price actually. £120 for a club which is like new condition. So far we have putter and wedges absolutely sorted. So moving on to the irons now. The irons are a fantastic potential here because I know that Callaway have been making great irons for a very long time now and I know that the quality control here is going to be second to none. So, we know we’re not going to get a lemon, which you can get some from some other secondhand websites of which we won’t mention. So, irons. I can get a set of Callaway Apex Pro 24 irons. And if I look here, I can get very good, I can get good or I can get average, extra stiff, extra stiff, or we have a set of regular three to pitching wedge though. What shaft is that? Let’s have a look. So, very good. Three to pitching wedge. That could for £688 be an absolute steal. You know what? For that price, I’m going to go with that cuz that is an absolute fantastic set of irons. So, we’re at £1,000 now and we have got putter, two wedges, and three to pitching wedge in those irons. So, I don’t need a hybrid cuz we’ve got a pitching wedge. So, now I’m just going to finish this set off with a 3-wood and a driver. Now, what can I get for this 3-wood and driver? The paradigms were fantastic. Okay, so 3-wood Paradigm triple diamond. What kind of price are we talking here? We’ve got quite a lot like new. We have stiff, we have regular, we have extra stiff. Do I go strong 3-wood? Oh, that could be nice. Do I go strong or do I go normal 3-wood? Right hand graphite stiff. Exactly the same shaft. I’m going to go strong because why not? That could be a really good option for off the tea. We will add that to the cart there. And for £144, again, it’s a fantastic performing 3-wood. And we know that on this Callaway certified premium website, the like new section is literally what it says on the tin, like new. Okay. Driver Paradigm AI smoke. This time, I wasn’t going to delve into the smokes, but looking at the prices, so these can range from 225 to 288. And you can see here we’ve got two options. We’ve got a 10 12°ree and we’ve got a 9°. So, if I have a look at these now, let’s have a look and see what we have. I think 10 and a half in that head is a fantastic option. It can really help us launch that up in there. Remember, we’ve gone for a strong 3-wood as well, so we don’t need strong of each. And I think we’ll check out with that in the cart. Okay, guys. So, you can see here that we have a subtotal of £1,800, but we have a discount because of the amount that we’ve got. So, it comes to £1,480. Now, for a full set of fantastic condition Callaway pre-owned golf clubs, I think that is a bit of a steal. You can see we’ve got white hot versa putter, two brand new Opus wedges, or should I say like new in the quality. We have a set of Callaway Apex Pro 24 irons in the very good section. We have a Paradigm Triple Diamond 3-wood, which is like new, and the Paradigm AI triple diamond driver, which again is like new. So, let’s get this from secure checkout, and let’s see who the special guest is. is I’m going to give him a ring now and he can place his order and he has the same budget that I have to make this fair. And just like that, 48 hours later, I have my new to me secondhand clubs. Now, I must admit, it’s been a fantastic experience so far. Very, very quick delivery. But how do they look? Because the proof will be in the pudding. We don’t have a knife again, Bob. So, we’re going to be using the keys again. But just how good do these look? You may have noticed that I’ve kind of opted for more of a kind of like new approach to this cuz there’s four different qualities you can have. You can have like new, you can have very good, you can have good, or you can have average. I don’t mind spending that little bit extra for the kind of like new or very good. But if you want to get a bit more of a deal, obviously you can always go average. I’ll put on screen just what those conditions are cuz they’re still going to be pretty good to be honest. But how good are these going to be? You think I’d get good at opening boxes by now, wouldn’t you, Bob? Behold my secondhand pre-owned Callaway gloves. Now, already you can see a box full of head covers here. And just what else do we have in this box? Now, one of the great things here is Callaway do give you a 12 month manufacturer warranty on these and a 14-day trial. So, you get a 14-day real world condition trial. If you’re not satisfied, you can return them for a full refund, which is quite ridiculous, to be honest. They’re 100% Callaway certified authenticity and you can see that you do get a free head cover included. Um, what should we look at first? I want to I want to see how far they go. Should we have a look? Cuz obly the irons are in the box, aren’t they? Yeah. So, we’ll speak in a second. This is me being organized, by the way. And we’ll have a look what we’ve got here. So, one of the first things you’re all going to want to see is this cuz I thought the AI smoke paradigm was a fantastic. Look at that for condition. Now, this is where I have dealt with other secondhand companies in the past. And you don’t get that kind of I don’t know like what I keep saying one second wow this year. It’s kind of my terminology of the year, but some of the condition these bad boys are in. I mean, these have to be enough to beat, don’t they? 13 and a half degree that um people don’t know. Peep that out cuz no one knows who we’re taking on. So, we’ll beep out his name there. And then that I’m absolutely buzzing with that as a little bit of a haul. Let’s see just how far they go. Let’s see how they do perform in the simulator. Guys, lots of big challenges to come with these clubs as well. As you all know, I absolutely love a secondhand bargain and I feel like this could be it. So, you will remember the putter of choice that I went for was of course a white hot Versa 7. I’ve got some fantastic memories with putters like this and that white hot insert for me should bode well in some of these challenges that are upcoming. That can go straight in the bag. Now, when it came to wedges, I quite like a two- wedge setup. I think personally, three wedges can start to get a little bit too much. So, I went for 54 and 60, both in the new Opus finish. You’ll see again these are incredibly good condition. They don’t even look like they’ve ever been used. So, just to get these even a little bit lower than that kind of well, RRP price, you could say. Quite a good bargain, I think. So, let’s play a couple of shots. So, we’re going to play some shots with, of course, the Irons and the Woods, but the Opus wedges, I think, are a bit of a kind of understated model in the Callaway lineup for 2025. A really, really nice feeling wedge and a really, really nice looking wedge as well. We’ve gone a bit too far there, Bob, haven’t we? 60 yards we’ve set. [Music] That’s more like it, Bob. D. This is a 54. I’ve gone for 54 with 12 degrees of bounce. And I’ve gone for a 60 as well with a little bit more of a specialist grind on there if we do get ourselves into some form of trouble. Right now, when it comes to wedges, obviously the wedges I’ve gone for, I’ve gone for a two- wedge setup. And I don’t feel like that’s me at a disadvantage. I feel like I’ve simplified it and I can just play the shots I want to play. So, I’ve got a 60 and a 54, both in the Opus. And really, what I’m looking for with these like new condition is a bit of stop, a bit of spin, just like that. And as long as you do get the right gap in, then maybe speak to your PJ Pro or use the fivestar Google rated customer service to see what kind of bounce you want, what kind of grind you want. And from there, I always think speak to your coach because your coach knows what you want. And if you’re spending any money on clubs, make sure they’re right. And you can see here how nice and consistent we’re playing these shots with the 60° out of this bunker because it’s the right bounce for me. I know how much I can open the face. I know how much of the bounce I’m using and I know I’m not going to hit the perfect shot every single time. Well, it’s trying to come back off the bank with a bit of spin. I said we’ll wait till later for the irons, but I feel like I want to do this in some kind of order, and I’m absolutely buzzing to show you these. You can’t beat unboxing new golf clubs. It doesn’t matter how often you get to do it. It doesn’t matter what kind of clubs they are. Come on, Bob. Bring it in. We have Modus NS Pro. Oh, wow. Apex Pros. Look at them. They look absolutely gorgeous, don’t they? And again, you look at the kind of condition of these. And one of the big things I I want to see from this kind of test is what condition clubs are we getting for the price? Cuz there’ll be people saying, “Oh, you’ve spent quite a lot of money.” There’ll also be people thinking, “Oh, you’ve actually you’ve not spent a lot of money there at all for what we’ve got.” You can see a tiny bit of bag clutter on these, but realistically, three iron as well. thoughts on that? Right. What should we go? Let’s put a couple of these in the bag and we’ll cuz you see my my logic there was with three iron I don’t really need a hybrid if that’s what I have cuz the we’ll see in a moment just how far I thought three irons were a dying art to be honest. Bob 7 iron nice couple of seven irons. So 7 iron for me we’ve got a lot of boxes to throw away but 7 iron for me would be around kind of 165. These are good, strong irons. So, I’m going to go 170 and let’s see how that works. Lovely hollow body design here. A fantastic looking club. Oh, yeah. 6002 straight off the bat. What distance have we got there? 155 carry 160 total. And one of the things for me here is with this challenge, yes, I wanted to buy a set of clubs that could be seen as a good bargain. and have that kind of certified authenticity. But also, I want to play some good golf with these. We’re going to have some really big high quality matches with them. So, these have to be right now. I’ve gone one degree upright because for me, I think if I aim right, that one degree upright will really help my ball flight. Just come back to the middle like that. That’s the shot that I’m wanting to hit with these irons time after time after time. Pitch 155, release to 160. You can see just how consistent we are getting here. And I would recommend anyone do this if you can get your hands on a simulator or a driving range with some kind of ball tracking device. When you get your set of pre-owned clubs, check them for numbers. Check them for performance and see just if you’ve kind of got the right irons. Obviously, with that 14-day money back guarantee, you could make sure they’re right. Right. three iron because why not? I do like the prospect of a three iron. So, I think this could be a bit of a beast off the tea with it still being some adjust. What kind of numbers can we get? Stop it, James. How good is that, Bob? Look at that. 210 carry releasing up to 225 spinning at 34 for a hollow body design. I mean, I have reviewed these in the past. I know that the Apex Pros are good irons, but I’m really cuz whenever you buy a set of golfers, be them secondhand or new, it’s always a nervy prospect because you never really know that those specs are right for you. Obviously, unless you’ve gone for a really in-depth fitting, but really for this kind of money, look at that again. Absolutely beautiful. Lower flight that time. Not quite the strike. Still up past that 200 yard mark. And I really do think that when I looked at these as a full set, quite often you think of a full set as four iron down to pitching wedge. And that’s again why I’ve gone for that two wedge setup. So, we all know numbers are good and well, but like I said earlier, I love getting out on the golf course and just testing new clubs. Obviously, Callaway do offer that 14-day money back guarantee as long as they’re in similar to the same condition what you got them. What do you reckon here, Bob? Let’s look at these. Do we go Could it be eight or nine? What do you What would you go with? How far is it? 153. Eight. Eight. I forgot how good these look. You know, the the Apex Pro into the wind slightly. Lovely blade length. Nice top line. If that takes the kick it should take. It could be really good. You know what though, learning on the job here, I think we can hit nine. Struck that really nicely. And this is why I think when you do buy a set of golfers, be them brand new, be them pre-owned, it’s nice to go and get the numbers. It’s also nice to test them in these kind of real world environments and see what kind of shots you can get because these are going to be a little bit longer and a bit more forgiving than a lot of clubs I test. But they also still have that versatility and really nice bag appeal. How good is that? That’s towering all over it. That could be close. Oh, did I ever tell you I absolutely love my job, Bob? I absolutely love going to find secondhand bargains. I still think you could have gone cheaper. So, we’re going to have a special guest in this series, and I know full well he’s going to try and save himself a little bit more money, but I think for the price of a modernday set of irons and driver, I’ve got myself a full bag, which I’m really, really happy with here. That’s all over the flag for the 9 iron. And that is as well. I feel like the shot trajectories that we’re getting here are absolutely perfect and consistent. What about cuz we talk about that element of control, don’t we? What about a little chippy seven iron? Because that’s where if you are wanting nice forgiving clubs, but also you’ve gone for the pros because you want to be able to play shots down. Can I play that? I really think I’ve got the best of like all worlds here. Look how close they are as well. This bodess incredibly well. That’s the best shot of it. This bodess incredibly well for the challenges that are upcoming with these certified pre-owned clubs. I’m absolutely over the moon here. Absolutely over the moon. Moving on to the headcovered clubs. I think the three I might go top of the bag there, Bob. Almost like a bit of a driving iron. You can see we’ve gone both paradigm but slightly different ages. That’s the standard paradigm and that’s of course the AI smoke. So we’ll go threewood first. This was an absolute beast. I’ve got 13 and 12° as well. And shaftwise, we’ve got that Cali 70 g stiff. Still is a beast. It still You’re right, Bob. Oh, we could loft this down to be like a almost a mini driver, couldn’t we? Oh, wow. Um I think that 270 yards. I’m going to keep those. I’m going to keep We’re not hitting any more of those until the first te at one of the challenges cuz that is abs absolutely outrageous. Guys, I hope you’re as excited about this as I am cuz I’m buzzing to get started with this little series and challenge. I’ll tell you what, Bob, little sub 2000 spinner with the Paradigm Triple Diamond. The good news is it’s gone past the 3-wood cuz the 3-wood is an absolute beast. Obviously, with these clubs, I could think about retrofitting them as well. We do have the adjustable huzzle and with the AI smoke paradigm triple diamond, we can change those weights as well. But for now, I’m absolutely buzzing with this setup. Guys, make sure you stay tuned and check out the link in the description below if you’d like to check out the Callaway pre-owned website because I think I found a new way to purchase secondhand clubs even on your family holiday, which I’m lucky to have done. Okay, so you’ve joined me in the purchase process. You’ve seen they only took a few days to be delivered and we’ve seen the unboxing of these golf clubs. Now, I’m amazed just at kind of what kind of clubs I can get for the money and just how current this set of clubs is. Now, as well as hitting them in the studio because I know we all like to see just how far clubs go and how well they can perform. I’m going to hit a couple of shots out here on the golf course because I I don’t think Oh, look at that one. Wow. That’s one for the ages, isn’t it? But I think there’s nothing better than hitting golf shots out on turf. And this is the start of a brand new series, guys. So, make sure you do hit that subscribe button and make sure you check out the link in the description if you want to see the Callaway pre-owned website. Now, this looks like a little bit of a beast. Wow. That is going for miles and miles and miles. And I’ve got a feeling this could be an absolute weapon for the task in hand. That’s past those ridges. That’s absolutely miles up there. This is definitely one of the best best purchases. Look at that again. It’s just like going and going and going. So that’s the Paradigm Triple Diamond 3 Plus. That’s the Fairway Plus that we did say out on the family holiday. It’s been a couple of days actually. So, I’m really enjoying getting I’ve forgot my towel. I’m going to clean them before the next outing. What about the three iron? Well, we have quite a couple of challenges with these clubs with a few special guests. Three iron. I challenge anybody that’s on the center line as well. Look at that. I challenge anybody to provide a better feeling in golf than that. A three iron off the deck just compressed up there. Wow. Wow. And the good thing is we can collect numbers for all these and show you just how they actually performing as well. So we’re going to Bob’s going to do a proper job on the edit, aren’t you, Bob? What’s that? In out. In out. In out. Well, not one of them half ass ones you sometimes do. I’m joking Bob. I’m joking. Right. This could be an absolute steal cuz I think this is one of the best drivers Callaway have ever made. I almost sense here that that’s like, you know, the Spider-Man phrase, with great power comes great responsibility. I’m going to have to properly That is I shouldn’t be surprised or shocked because these are clubs that I have tested before. And that’s where if you are in the pre-owned game and you’re looking for a good budget set of clubs or just a good secondhand set of clubs cuz you don’t want to spend a ton of money, these clubs aren’t that old and they perform incredibly well and you’re not spending you’re still spending money but you’re not spending the likes of the brand new latest and greatest clubs. They’re absolutely perfect to start this challenge. And that’s a draw, Bob. That is a draw. [Music]

  1. I turned this video on to my mom and now she wants to be a blogger too. Looks like we have a family project🍭

  2. I’d love to know what the saving compared to new would be. They aren’t exactly that affordable when the cheapest club is still more than £100

  3. Titleist Preowned is the same thing they also have other brands on it. 2nd swing typically has better deals than all of them if you watch them drop the price of sets plus coupon codes.

  4. I can 100% endorse Callaway pre owned. The service is great and they tend to under describe the condition of the clubs. For example, I have a set of Apex DCB irons which were described as very good, and there was literally not a mark on them. If they had been sold as brand new I'd have believed them. Same with my Odyssey 10 putter, Paradym 7 wood and other clubs I've bought. The other advantage for me is that they always have a decent stock of left handed clubs unlike many suppliers. Looking forward to this series.

  5. I've bought several clubs off callaway preowned site. Most have actually been other brands. Always get great deals. PXG Sugar Daddy in brand new shape for $170, with graphite shaft, probably $500+ new. Titleist TSi3 driver is very good condition for $220. Been a lifesaver for a lefty

  6. You need 1 more club, maybe a 5 wood. Got a 50 yard gap between the strong 3 wood and the 3 iron. You only have 13 sticks in the bag. I buy a lot from Callaway Pre-Owned and don’t know how many times they sent me “like new” that were still in the plastic.
