JAMESTOWN — The Jamestown Women’s Golf Association had six winners in the 13th week of action on Tuesday, July 29, at the Hillcrest Golf Course.
This week’s winners are below:
Longest drive, 3rd hole: Courtney Cook
Closest to the pin, 8th hole: Cook, 17 feet, 7 inches
Closest to the 150-yard stick, 9th hole: Kathy Strahm
Longest putt, 16th hole: Yvonné Fuglestad, 16 feet, 9 inches
Closest to the pin, 17th hole: Becky Kercher, 4 feet, 8 inches
Closest to the pin on the fourth shot, 18th hole: Theresa Haag, 2 inches
Hillcrest Door Prize: Evie Burgard
Lowest score: Cook, 82
This week there were also seven birdies and one chip-in with Savannah Wiese having a chip-in on the seventh hole. During the competition, Cook and Coralynn Dahlmann each birdied the fifth hole, while Theresa Haag birdied the fourth hole, Kacey Schlafman birdied the second hole and Cathy Caulfield birdied the 13th hole. Braelyn Wiese had a good week, recording a birdie on the fifth and seventh holes.
