Where is Elon Musk when we need him? We were told that Elon was there to help cut waste and get rid of people who weren’t producing enough. Here’s some waste that should have been cut.

President Donald Trump will spend approximately $10 million on his visit to Scotland — at the taxpayer’s expense — where he can promote his golf resort in Aberdeen, his other resort in Turnberry and will appear at the grand opening of another 18 hole course in that area.

During his first term in office, his golf vacations — on his own courses — ran up a tab of approximately $152 million, and so far in this term he has run up a tab of approximately $52 million. And we pay for it all — not only the cost of the golf, but housing the secret service detail assigned to him as well as any other member of his group that is assigned to him. And this $52 million doesn’t even include the millions that was spent so he could go to the Super Bowl.

We cut back on all kinds of federal jobs in positions we really need, but he can run up all kinds of bills that we pay for. How many people could have kept their jobs in the various agencies that he and Elon decided were non-essential for the money he spends on his trips — that he can profit from — at our expense?
