Have you heard of Yamato golf clubs? I have had my eye on these for a while and I finally pulled the trigger and bought them. They are affordable but are they good clubs? I spent several days testing them out and I have compiled this video to give you all an idea if these clubs are right for you.

I've been looking into getting a set of these for my Dad. He isn't as confident of a golfer as I am yet around the greens. And he still only uses his stock PW and SW from his old TaylorMade 320 iron set. and those are beat…. I saw these come up on Amazon a good starter set of wedges. And I was happy to see and actual in depth review of them. This gives me confidence that this would be a good investment for him to try out and start using. Good all around review! Thanks dude!
At $129 for a set of 3 right now?????? I will try them. thanks for the video. I would be interested in collaborating with you on a future video.
Smell test is wild gangy
Need to know your height lol
Have you found out yet if they are USGA conforming? I have a different set from them with the milled faces but not full face and by the sounds of it, with them being U shaped grooves they are not legal, but I could be wrong.
Great review video bro keep it up!
Since wedges wear out more than any other club in your bag, it’s good to have affordable wedges. I have never tried these wedges, but have tried the grips. I agree they have an odor, which goes away, but the feel is good.
I have tried the Lazrus wedges which are awesome. Lazrus tends to have thinner grips, but they pass the smell test. They have the milled face on all 3 types of wedges. Traditional, cavity backed, & wide soled. The gap wedge is my favorite club, the 52 degree.
The cavity back wedges also have full face grooves in addition to the milled face. All 3 sets claim to be forged wedges. None of their irons make that claim.
Over all great clubs for about 1/3 the price of the big named brands. My wide soled clubs were $24 each, the other. Sets Traditional and cavity backed were $100 for a 3 club set.
After watching this review. I pulled the trigger. I’ve spent 129 on dumber things and have been needing a couple new wedges.. thanks
I appreciate this review man. Good job and you spoke my language.
Good review, but I wish your sound was stereo instead of only in my right ear.
Do these clubs destroy golf balls?
