Big one today, guys. We are at Royal Port Rush playing the day after the open. Thank you all for subscribing because it’s because of guys like you that we get to do this. Now it’s a special special golf course. This I’ve been waiting to play this hole all week. We’re about to tee off in a moment. And I’ve just noticed as you look on the tea, you might just see a little cap poking up there, there’s a major champion on the tea. A multiple major champion. Tom Watson’s going to be starting us off today. As if I wasn’t already nervous enough, I’ve now got Tom Watson watching me try not to scaff a four iron out of town on the first of Port Rush. The putting green’s beautiful. The lines are still on here from all the tour pros where they’ve been working on puts up and down a hill. I’ve hauled a few. Had a little chat with the four bros there. You can see them just in the background. They’re out a little bit after us. So, it’s going to be a hell of a day. We look like we got some good playing partners as well. A group of Irish lads. Yeah, if you just get it over and on that fairway sort of bit on the right hand side, it’ll swing down in so annoyed cuz that drive was so good as well. And then I go and hit a poor iron. That was hard. That if I break 90, it’s my new adjustment. good six from that drive, Matthew. Right. Come on. All five. Oh dear, that’s gone. I will hit another. I’m buzzing that we’re playing Royal Port Rush. I’m just gutted that we got absolutely drenched for six holes at the start and now it’s like cold wet. We got a battle on and see what we can do. If I can get what would I I think I’m 11 over 11 over. No, 10 over. Let’s say cuz we’re obviously going to make bogey air unless I up and down it from 205. I think I’d be happy with that given that I’ve got wet underpants right now. Wet socks, wet underpants. It’s It’s all gone pee on little five iron straight at the middle of the green. I know you can’t predict when it’s like sunny, but at least play it dry. That would be incredible cuz it’s easily the best course I’ve ever played. Had the worst day going until the last two holes really. And it’s just insanely good. Would you say it’s the best open course? Well, I haven’t played any other ones. Have you not? No. Like from a viewing. This is good though. Yeah. This is I think this is by far the best. Bertdale next. Yeah. St. Andrews there. Better than Carni. Yes. Better than Carni. More dramatic than Carnoui. The undulations are incredible. It’s a special special golf course this. And I’m doing it justice. So much detail in that. If I was a caddy, I’d just be mind boggled within seconds of looking at all that. The first one he hits left. God. What’s that? There’s a big depth down in there, is that? Yeah. Oh, wow. What a day. What a four. What a player. What a golfer. Champion golfer. Oh, there is the pin on calamity. Who dare goes near the pin? Look at that for a hole. Wow. I’ve been wanting to play this one. This is the other course here, the valley course. This is where the practice ground was for the week. And then that’s the other course with Port Rush Town just in the background. Right. Come on.
