Human. Now saying that, a good mark of a man is how he controls his emotions. Especially in extreme situations. Most people playing that course this weekend would have broken a couple of clubs.
When your expectations are extremely high the let down can be devastating. Given the fact he just completed his career grand slam he probably shouldn’t have been out there throwing clubs.
Rory has so much talent but acts like a crybaby quite a bit. You’re not the only one playing in those conditions. I get the frustration, but that doesn’t mean you can destroy a tee marker.
Destroying company property. I'd get suspended or canned for that. Throwing a club like he did that iron during the us open is grounds for dq and suspension as he is a liability at that point. Considering that a club thrown in that manner has a tendency to bounce wherever it wants to. In a word: DANGEROUS.
Intentional destruction of any object on course should be met with a $10,000 fine, and go up $10,000 for every offense after. These dudes can afford it…
The normal reaction of someone who expects better from themselves… not childish or disrespectful. Every shot could be 10k’s of dollars and by losing a shot left he could have cost himself your entire years salary!

Hes a little cvnt when he doesn't get his way, an arrogant little cvnt, he thinks he's the world's best
Rory acts like a child
He’s a pro and he is supposed to leave by example. Awful behavior.

Spoiled…
He's a toddler. He might be a grand slam winner. But he'll always be a petulant knob
Yeah this just sad, IF this happened to a LIV player people would’ve been calling for him to be DQ’d
Bad
Frustrated. Been there and done way worse.
He’s always been a spoiled little brat.
I thought this was an automatic DQ when I saw it. USGA has rules forbidding the destruction of course markers.
Funny
Yeah not cool, entitled attitude.

Needed to be fined shots and money for this.
Arrogance just like a child
Should pay for a replacement marker
