Honetsly surprised Texas would mandate any kind of public safety warning…. unless this place is just doing it out of the goodness of their heart.

Midland? Odessa? Hogan? Greentree? Ratliff? Seminole? Andrews? Grew up in the area and still have family there, thought I’d pretend I knew a little something. LOL
NVM, just saw the sign. Pecos.

Are we playing golf, or fighting in the trenches?

Friendly reminder from your local chemical engineers – if you smell H2S you’re probably going to be okay, if you stop smelling H2S you’re in trouble

Played a course in west Texas. Only ones on the course. Saw a dead deer on the fairway next to us. Then when we got to that hole it was gone.
Coyotes or something got to it quick. It wasn’t the club house cause we asked at the end and they had no idea

I’m forced to carry a similar sign at course I play.

There is a muni near me that was built on a landfill and it also has H2S warnings. On the soccer field nearby years ago a ball went into a sinkhole and a woman pulled out a lighter to see it and grab it and set off a CH4 pocket.

Do they have multi gas meters mounted in the carts?
