When I first moved to Alberta in 2017 it was just about $80 CAD (about $60 USD back then) to play there as they had resident rates for locals. Kind of crazy to think about, I don’t think there was a better deal for golf in the world.
It’s owned by the provincial government so they really didn’t care about squeezing every last dime of profit out. They’d keep the course closed until quite late in the Spring (sometimes into June, it’s the Canadian Rockies) to make sure the conditions were perfect, space out the tee times as to not clog up the course, and it’s usually in fantastic shape. Such a great experience all around.

Played Lorette for my birthday this year (Kidd last year). The most beautiful courses. Love it out there!
