Charlie playing well in R3
Welcome to live R3 updates of the Junior PGA where Tiger Woods’ son Charlie Woods is in contention for not only the title but also earning an elusive spot in the US Junior Ryder Cup team.
Charlie is off to a solid start on day three.
He opened with two birdies on 1 and 2 and then gave one back on 4.
But he has bounced back well with back to back birdies on 6 and 7 to move to 3-under on the round and to double digits for the tournament on 10-under par.
Charlie is currently in T4 and six shots behind the runaway leader Lunden Esterline.
William Chang and Chase Yenser are in T2 on 11-under par.
The leaders are about to head into the back nine.
