Some shoes have spikes. Some have kind of pretty ornate soles on them. Yep. Soft spikes. What do we need? Does it matter? Of course it matters. Right. So, we talked about these ground reaction forces. When you push into the ground, the ground pushes back, right? If I push into the ground, if my connection to the ground isn’t solid and I start to slip, that’s good. Well, then there’s no ground reaction force coming back and it’s all gone. Right? When you apply 100 lb, you want 100 lbs to come back. Any of these things that you do wrong can take percentages away from your ground reaction, and that’s not good cuz then you’re going to lose speed and pow. So, I think the the the the world we live in now is we now realize that it’s really really important that when you push that the connection from your foot to the ground is there.
