NORMAN, Okla.– The 2024-25 Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars for NCAA Division I were announced this week, and three Miami University student-athletes were recognized. Matthew Mattioli, Cameron Pero and Michael Weber were named All-America Scholars.
 
To be eligible for nomination, a Division I student-athlete must be a sophomore, junior or senior both academically and athletically. In addition, they must participate in 50% of their team’s competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 76.0, and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at their college or university.
 
Mattioli, a native of Cheswick, Pa., produced a 3.45 GPA as a Finance major in the Farmer School of Business. Pero, a product of Bloomfield, Ontario, carries a 3.41 GPA in Finance into his senior season. Weber, a rising senior from Burlington, Ontario, holds a 3.28 GPA as a Sport Management major in the College of Education, Health and Society.
