The First Granddaughter of President Donald Trump, Kai Trump, competed at the same junior tournament as the legendary Tiger Woods’ son, Charlie, and both recorded impressive scores.

Trump, 18, and Woods, 16, played the second and final round of the 41st Nicklaus Junior Championship late last month at Tequesta Country Club. The tournament is one of South Florida’s top junior golf competitions.

Woods, who recently struggled at the U.S. Junior Amateur, shot 69 (2-under) to finish the tournament even-par, sixth place in a field of 122 golfers, and four shots behind tournament winner Port St. Lucie’s Jeremy Hsu. Meanwhile, Trump, who will attend the University of Miami and play golf in 2026, shot 74 (3-over) to finish the tournament 17-over and tied for 19th out of 32 spots.

The President’s oldest grandchild is an impressive golfer, but according to her grandad, she may not be the most talented in the family. President Trump highlighted his 11-year-old granddaughter, Chloe Trump, as the most talented golfer during his new 18-hole golf course opening in Aberdeen, Scotland.

“[I want to thank] my son, Don, for being with us all the way. He’s always been with us and he’s a great guy,” Trump began. “He’s got some great golfers in the family – Kai, and he’s got one right over there, that little one,” he continued, pointing out Chloe.

“She may be one of the most talented in the whole family. She’s something special. That’s Chloe, you’ll be reading about her someday, walking down the 18th hole of some great course, I think. She’s very talented, actually.”

Kai is very close with grandad Trump. The pair play golf together and regularly speak on the phone to stay in touch. “Me and him are very close, and we bond over golf,” she said.

“So, he influenced me a lot with golf, especially when I was talking about schools and colleges. He loved that I was going to Miami because Trump Doral was right there as well, so he’s influenced me a lot with golf.”

“I was very, very lucky, and I’m obviously very thankful for all the resources I had,” she added.

“Obviously, I used those resources to develop into a great golfer now. But I’m very lucky because not many people have those opportunities growing up.”

Kai also joined President Trump at UFC 314. UFC President Dana White, a longtime friend of the President, gave him a hero’s welcome in arenas. “I don’t think I ever heard such a loud arena in my entire life,” she said.

“But it was really cool to see everyone supporting him, especially in Miami. It was really nice. And when I was driving there, I stopped by my school just to see the campus and what not. It was really cool.”
