So, I’m just at the British Golf Show North and it’s getting to the end of the day. The crowds are dying down and I’m going to have a little bit of a walk around and try to introduce you to some of these brands that you probably never heard of. A lot of the startup brands and companies that are not in the mainstream shops and see if we find some hidden gems. What’s your name? Nigel. Nigel, I’ll give you a card. Shall I? Nigel, I’ve been trying to get hold of you for two days. I know it’s we’ve got 1 hour left at the show and this is the first time I’ve been able to get hold of you. You’ve been busy from the minute it opens. I know. Tell me about it. Why Why are people flooding your stand to buy these golf clubs? What is special about it? It’s a really incredible product. I’ve been playing golf now for 60 years. I’ve been a pro for 51. So, I’ve seen massive changes in the golf industry in equipment. You don’t look old enough to 69. Are you I’ve seen equipment, golf balls, shoes, everything improve and change. Not gloves. Right. Gloves have never changed. I’ve got to admit, I’m a bit guilty of just wearing a caba glove. You know, there’s no nothing fancy about my glove. In these hot sweater conditions, Yeah. you press buyer and that glove will go slimy and then it’ll go stiff. Yeah. And it won’t last more than a couple of weeks. It goes horrible. I can uh These gloves you can wash. Can you really? Yeah. You can get them wet, doesn’t matter. Yeah, it’s all right. Don’t worry. And you should see the two the panel with the two red. Yeah. There you go. And the other thing to notice, this seam here. Yeah. Should be continuous. Oh, yeah. That seam, as you do that, it breaks. I if you’ll get that sort of through the camera, but 50 years of coaching, most amateurs and some pros under pressure Yeah. will grip too tight. Yeah. And then your hands don’t work properly and you get some horrible shots. So, the fact that so you can actually hold it lighter. Yeah. Should we just swap over a minute and I’ll show you something else? I’ve deliberately brought this old club. This has got a very shiny grip and it really needs regripping. Yeah, it does. But with this glove, it sticks like something to something. And I can’t tell you what, but you know what I mean. It sticks very nicely. It doesn’t slide. So, you can grip this really light, but you don’t lose the club. So, what you’re saying is don’t go and get new grips. Buy these gloves. It’ll save you some money. Golf pride and lumpkin grips might not be too pleased to hear that, but yes. Yeah, but ideally you should have new grips as well. Both. We’re all joking Lumpkin and Golf Pride. But honestly, so many benefits. And this is definitely the best glove in the world. And you’ve got lots of different colors. This is the only color available in the coaching glove at the moment. This is a brand new. We’ve only had this a month. I teach a lot. Every single one of my pupils has bought one of these. Yeah. And they say, “Well, I’ve got to have one.” Of course I have. I’ve been playing golf what over 30 years now. And and and regardless of whether I’m a pro or not, it’s an important piece of kit because I, you know, we get into bad habits as well. I think I’m coming up to probably about 10 years, so I might get something for that. You’ll get a plastic one. But look, look on the stand here. All the different colors available. It’s just it’s so versatile. And the ladies, the ladies love all these different colors. Yeah. You know, we we get the ladies on here and they actually they take a long time deciding what bloody color they want. You can’t say that on YouTube. We’ll get her. Bam. Thank you very much.
