I’m kinda interested in it as I’m from Oregon and LABs HQ is based out of here. Also, the PE firm they were sold to is part of the Louis Vuitton empire which I found to be interesting. I’m also hoping that LAB doesn’t go to shit because of this move, but I’m not holding my breath

While his decision is understandable, I also kind of feel disappointed it happened. By all accounts it was a fairly decent product, and we can all be pretty sure that won’t last after this.

Been gaming an Odyssey 2 ball for a decade+ and thought I’d check out what has changed in the putting world. I tried new Odysseys, Ping, Mizuno, Scotty Cameron and lastly…. LAB.
I’m the type of person who doesn’t give a shit how things look. If they function and make me better, I want it. The LAB is the superior putter. It’s smooth as fuck, helps with off center strikes and I was making 3,4,5 footers as well as lagging putts better than all other brands and my current 2 Ball. It’s ugly and I don’t care. I’m a better putter because of it and anyone saying otherwise can keep enjoying their 3 putts.
Also, I don’t give a shit about PE. Anyone involved in anything in corporate America knows the deal. This is how the world works. Congrats to the dude who sold and got a bag of money. It’s the American dream.
