Fanatic was busy before the ball game today. Jared Durant, who is not in the starting lineup, he stole the key and Then took off. He was going to take off on the A TV and the fanatic. Uh, oh, but a goody 2001, 2026. It’s still funny. He’s cleaning off where Jarren Duran sat down since the first of June. Christopher Sanchez’s er A is 1.63. That’s fourth best in all of major league baseball and a ground ball to second base right at Bryson one away, one pitch, one set aside, just Anthony and Yoshida the only two left handers in there and you can understand why this guy is almost impossible to hit for left handers swing and a miss, he tied him up with a sinker two outs, just tied him up. Alex Bregman will be the batter third baseman for the Red Sox off the hand slowly back toward the middle. Scott has it throws from the shortstop side in time. That’s a heck of a play. So 123 go the Red Sox here in the first. Richard fits one and 34, 28 got his first career win on July 7th , two earned runs over five and two thirds against Colorado. That one is back toward the middle base hit. It’s a left center field Trey is aboard. So Kyle Schwarber steps in and he’ll foul tip that in the mid for strike. Three down goes Schwarber hacking and one gone. Here’s Bryce Harper who doubled twice last night. Pitches pulled into right field. A base hit Turner is on his way to third and Harper will hold up at 1st, 1st and 3rd 1 man down. Third hit of the series for Bryce and now Castano an RB I early last night runner goes again. Pitches floated out to center that’s going to drop for a base hit a run will score to third is Harper RB I for Nicks 1 to 0. Phillies, a great piece of hit by nick, a great base runner by Bryce. He did get the slider. That thing that stayed in the center of the plate. Don’t have to hit him hard to be successful all the time to bring brandon Marsh to the plate with runners at 2nd and 3rd. 2 outs. Here comes Harper. He’s going to try to steal home the throw. I think he did call a ball. Wait a minute, you know what it was. I think it’s Narvaez stepped in front of the plate before the pitch came in. He did not give the hitter a chance to take a swing. So technically like a catcher, either one second straight night where there’s a catcher’s interference and that would be the eighth, catcher’s interference on the year for the Red Sox and the sixth on Narva. Crazy. Are you kidding me? In the two innings? Two times? Catcher’s interference, Marsh gets first. He’s not charged with it at bat 1st and 3rd and 2. Now, what a bizarre ending to last night and a bizarre start this high fly right field, Anthony getting under and will make the catch and that will retire the side, but not before the Phillies get two runs. Max Kepler will lead it off for the Phils here in the second. Lifts it in the air to right field. It’s pretty deep. Anthony going back. It is, it’s a 12 game hitting streak against the Red Sox for Kepler, but he’s given the Phils a 30 lead out of boy Max Kepler. He’s grinding right now. And what I mean, grinding, not just physically mentally because he’s just really in a funk offensively, just getting off better swings super aggressive. Here goes after an early pitch, well done. Need something positive right now. And two down here, Schwarber one to center field that’s well hit. Going back to the Schwarber. It’s the second one of the inning for the Phillies. They now lead it 4 to 0. We talked about it to the crossover Phillies need to score early and so far so Good God, is this man strong just short and quick to the ball. And man does it travel. Red Sox don’t a base runner yet against the very tough Christopher sanchez has been three up, three down for the first three innings tonight. Top of the order next Snyder to one high fly ball left, backing up Kepler turning around, this is going to go. It’s a home run. Rob Snyder got it airborne his sixth home run of the year and that puts the Red Sox on the scoreboard. I guess that’s the key. Just don’t hit it on the ground against this guy. So we hit in the air. So what does he ROMs? Why they’re in there? These guys give you quality at bats and it’s not just knocks and walks, it’s doubles, it’s homers. He gets a good pitch leaves the yard, but I guess that’s all you got to do. You got to hype up sanchez make him sound like he’s unhittable. Then he gives a box, bring roman Anthony to the plate to miss five strikeouts right back at it. That’s the thing. He doesn’t give up a lot of home runs, but he’s a great bounce back, one out base runner down there at first and bring Roy Gonzalez to the plate swing and a miss a nasty pitch. Six strikeouts. Trevor story will be the batter ground ball to shortstop. Turner Bobbles it for a moment but throws Lowe dugout by Bryson with some good hand eye coordination. And the lefty Bernardino called in early, he’s been really good nine and one third hasn’t given up a run last six appearances. So that’s two outs. Now here in the fourth that will bring the top of the order back up for the Phil Turner bounces one to the right side and into right field. A base hit his second hit of the night 32nd multi hit game of the year. Now, Schwarber who homered his last time up ground ball to second Gonzalez with the dig and retires the side. They’re going to strand two. Christopher sanchez has been excellent six strikeouts so far through five innings of work. He’ll face 91 and 2 to 2 pitch swing and a miss. He got him strikeout for Christopher sanchez his seventh of the night and the first out here in the sixth, Snyder is the only one that solved him tonight. He homered his last time up swing and a miss. He got to make strikeouts 130 strikeouts for Christopher just magical watching him pitch when he’s on like this slider first pitch changeup and Then 97 down and away to strike out. Ref Snyder’s Roman Anthony swing and a miss, he got him. He struck out the side nine K’s for Christopher through six innings. That’s 10 in a row retired by sanchez out. Trevor story is another one chopped to short turner high throw, safe at first, Trevor story gets there. Turner’s throw really sailed and it took Harper off the bag and the Red Sox catch a break. Musaka Yoshida zero for two will be the batter over the shortstop. Turner’s got it and he throw to first in time. So retired of the ground ball out for Christopher sanchez top of the eighth inning and it’s sedan rafael leading it off Christopher sanchez, still out there on the hill for the Phils as he is, uh, cruising along here tonight, Zedan grounds one up the middle and through but backhanded by the second baseman stop. He throws to first not in time. And how badly could carlos Narvaez use a good swing right here, ground ball to third. This might be two. There’s one where they had to hurry and get one not in time. According to the first base umpire, he had to think about it a little bit. Torre zero for two. He struck out and grounded out over to the right side. Harper’s got it flips to Sanchez just there in time. Yeah, I thought Bryce might try to get the force out at second since his momentum was going that way. But again, right handed thrower , the risk you take of throwing it into the runner, take the out. And thank goodness chris for Sanchez is athletic. So that will bring Rob Refsnyder to the plate. He’s responsible for the only Red Sox run back in the fourth inning. He homered off of sanchez. He got him. It’s the sixth double digit strikeout game of his career. It’s the third of the season. What a night for the Phillies left hander. What an amazing reaction as we were set to go to the top of the ninth inning. Rob Thompson was out talking to the umpire and it wasn’t about changing pitchers. It was about changing third baseman. Look at the reaction. Everybody in left field, how they were starting to come to their feet. They got louder, crescendo. They want to see him finish this baby off. It’s Roman Anthony to start it off. It may just be a couple of hitters we’ll see and a strike three call right down the middle at 9611. K’s for Christopher Sanchez. He’s got Anthony four times. Nothing fancy there. That was just 96 center cut. Anthony just couldn’t pull the trigger that will bring Alex Spg to the plate. He’s one for three tonight. Line drive cut by Edmundo Sosa third two away. Here we go. Crowd on their feet 43,000 and change Christopher set to go Gonzalez, the batter, the two pitch swinging and he got him a dozen strikeouts and a complete game for Christopher Sanchez the third of his career. That is just utter dominance of a good hitting team the best against left handed pitching. What a story. He’s evolved into a 123 top of the ninth inning. He’s got a tough to, nelly does have a tough act to follow.

  1. Where's all the Mets fans talking today??? 😂🤣🤣.. the starting pitching has been super good.. better hope we don't get that bullpen figured out;)

  2. Christopher Sanchez 12 K's against the Red Sox and it was Awesome. Go Phillies. Yeah Philadelphia Phillies are 58-43 🔴

  3. Red Sox can't seem to compete with the tough teams unless it the Yankees lol still think they can avoid the sweep and win a series against a top team though.

  4. i wish there wasn't interference called because harper was safe- that would have been way cooler that he just casually steals home at a really random time

  5. Come on Sox wth is going on. Is walker bueller was a waste of money. No wonder he wears 0 for 0 wins. Then this game today. 😂🤯

  6. They swung at so many pitches outside the plate it was unbelievable. I seen them just stare at pitches right down the center but then swing all night at pitches in the dirt or far out. They made that pitcher look good by not being patient. Phillies pitcher was throwing balls all night but redsox just kept chasing them. After a while it looked like they were just swinging at anything. And we are in trouble as far as I'm concerned with our pitching. Our bullpen is looking better then our last few starters.

  7. i saw this performance live and upfront, it was amazing. i had to tip my hat no matter if im a boston fan

  8. The Red Sox once again living up to what they've done for DECADES…falling apart after the All Star break.

  9. Anthony sure has a great swing. We can dissect it every time he strikes out. Move him down the line up until he matures.

  10. Red Sox falling into a slump after a pre All-Star break winning streak. Can they shake off the losses and pull out a win tonight 👀👀👀.
