Why Horseshoe Bay’s Golf Courses Are So Unique!
Let’s take a look at Horseshoe Bay, one of Golf Magazine’s
top 100 golf resorts in North America. We have four world
class championship style golf courses and also an 18 hole
real grass cutting course, three clubhouses, variety
from difficulty of easy to very difficult, and four completely different style
golf courses. Robertson Jones does a great job
with using the natural landscape and not really moving too much earth
to carve in the golf courses, so Slickrock is our member
favorite golf course. Robert Trent Jones did a fantastic job
with making a golf course that’s not extremely difficult, but without compromising
the beauty of the golf course, it’s a little flatter and terrain,
but it has some beautiful holes and great water features. It’s a fan favorite
for those that come here. Apple Rock is considered
the beauty of the four courses. Apple Rock has great hill country
Vista views captures the lake on a few of the holes. Just beautiful wildlife
and a difficult golf course if you play it from the back tees. Ram Rock is considered our most difficult
golf course from the back tees, and it is a tree lined design
golf course with many dog legs. Water
features, island greens on par threes and just a beautiful, fun
golf course to play. So summit Rock, Jack Nicklaus
signature design. And he did a great job
with designing that golf course through the meadows and through tall
fescue grasses, which really captures each hole and makes it feel like
each hole is a signature hole. He’s also very clever
with creating natural resources. Is the aiming targets
throughout the golf course, subtle water features
throughout the golf course, and it makes it, an experience
that is is really enjoyable to play. But also very beautiful
and distinct in its own right. Whitewater putting
course is a very unique amenity for us. It’s an all grass putting course, 18 holes with a sports bar centered
right in the middle of it. So we’re a full service golf instruction
facility, from fitting to club repair to golf instruction, clinics,
academies, private instruction. And so we’re excited
we’re going to be launching a new golf academy here in November,
which will be to endure bays that has state of the art technology
that can measure anything that’s moving in the golf swing or the golf ball,
multiple camera angles in these bays. We’re also going to have eight outdoor
hitting bays that have technology with that as well. It’s going to be a great enhancement
for us to have a private exclusive area for, for instruction and, be able to host
more academies, more clinics, and continue to grow that segment.
