SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) -The top 30 boys and 15 girls from the summer-long SDGA-Sanford International Junior Series all played at The Country Club of Sioux Falls on Monday.
Ty Lenards of Watertown was the boys champion after shooting a 2-under par 70. He edged a trio of golfers just one shot back: Carter Langle of Elk Point, Matt DeBeer of Dakota Dunes and Nick Bothun of Pierre.
And the girls competition was even closer finishing in a 3-way tie between Gabi Olson of Watertown, Katie Bettsworth of Dakota Dunes and Rylan Horning of Rapid City who all shot 71’s.
But it was Olson who prevailed on the 4th playoff hole for individual honors.
