Hey guys, welcome back to the channel. Today we’re back with another head-to-head. Uh we’ve got a request for you guys. So, it’s the winner of our game improvement iron of this year. It’s the Shrixen ZedX ii4 versus the brand new Titus T350. So, uh as per usual, we’re going to hit a couple of shots with each of them. Uh give you my initial thoughts and then afterwards, we’ll have a look at some numbers and give you our overall opinions. So, let’s go. Okay, guys. So, we’re starting off with our winner of the game improvement iron of 2025 video that we did not too long ago. So, we’re starting off with the Shrixen. Um, quite familiar with this iron by now, so we’re going to have a few just to get you some numbers and give it something to compare with the Titus. So, nice. So, we already know this iron is a really, really good performer. Um, it is slightly stronger lofted. It’s not crazy. So, I believe this one’s at around that 28 or 29 degree mark. Um, but super forgiving, super hot off the face, and it’s not super game improvement. So, you’re still going to be able to play it at a decently low handicap, I’d say. Very nice. Yeah, I just love the way this iron feels off the face. Feels super solid. Feels quite soft for an iron of this category as well. just really really enjoy it. And even that one there, really, really thin, but it’s still got up to 86 ft of height, 6 half th000 spin, is still going to carry a good good number as well. So, something like that, you know, not all of us are going to strike them pure every time. So, something like that is what you’ll get with this iron. [Music] So again, even that one not really flushed it, but it’s still over 120 ball speed. It’s launching nice and high. It’s still carried that sort of 165 mark, and it’s not really knuckily, you know, we’re still kind of keeping in that spin territory that we like to see. So yeah, already, you know, super impressed with that iron. You you guys know that I quite like it. So we’re going to hit that tight list and see how it compares. So, jumping into T350 now. Um, haven’t actually had a chance to hit this iron yet, so this will be interesting. First sort of hit with the club. First impressions, you can notice it’s got quite a bit of offset in. If anything, a little bit more uh than that Shrixen, but this is the club, the Titus brand is their, you know, ultimate game improvement iron. So, that would make sense. Nice. Definitely a different pitch to it. Wow, that is quick. Wow, that’s 120 almost 125 ball speed off that. I think we were hovering around 120, maybe just over with the Shrixen. But that is quick. It still kept a good spin number to be fair. It’s just gone a hell of a long way. Nice. does launch incredibly high as well. You can see there 125 ball speed. Again, that is mega quick. But super consistent carry. I think both of those have been exactly, you know, 175 there, thereabouts. Really, really high. Nice shape on it. Let’s have a couple. Yeah, it’s mega quick. You know, if you guys are after a a sort of distance focused iron, something that’s going to give you as much ball speed as you possibly can, then this could be the iron because we’re again 126 ball speed, 175 carry on the dot again. Let’s see. It feels really good to be fair. I like that one there. Not the purest, but we’re still at just a hair under 124. It’s kept the launch. It’s kept the height. Let’s have a look at the spin. Yeah, still loads of spin on it as well. You know, maybe someone who’s not swinging it as quick as me, you might spin it a little bit less, but um even for me, that sort of spin number with a nine like this is not really what I’d expect to see. It’s quite high to be honest with you. So, one more. Maybe slightly slower one. Yeah, I’ll tug that left as well. But that’ll be interesting to see what sort of spin rate that gets. Oh, I didn’t record it. Do one more. Right, let’s just see how that does. There’s been a lot of talk with the Titus about the new groove design. So maybe, yeah, that’s probably what we’re seeing there really. Even with like the uh seven out of 10 strikes, that sort of thing, the spin retention on them is really really good. So, it’s good to see that we’re not sacrificing that sort of level of control even when we’re getting ball speeds of sort of 125 plus really. See? Nice. And it does launch high, but you can kind of see when I strike it. Well, it’s that consistent sort of trajectory. They’re all hovering around that sort of 120 ft mark. Um, getting up there quite high, but landing really nice and soft. So, that is a a mega quick iron, but something that you’re not really going to sacrifice a lot of control there as well. So, you can see the ones that I’m swinging full, they’ve all landed within a few yards of each other, which is often the downside of uh these sort of chunkier irons. So yeah, super impressed with that one. Really, really do like that. Okay, so that was just a few swings with each of them just to give you you, you know, my initial impressions on the irons. In particular, the T350 cuz I’ve hit the ZX i4 quite a bit before, as I said, and I thought that iron was really quite quick and really quite impressive. But that T350, I’m getting nearly an extra 5 mph of ball speed off a very, very similar swing, which is crazy to be honest with you. That big of a jump. That’s quite drastic. Uh they’re launching about the same, spinning about the same. They went within like 200 revs uh of each other. But the main difference was the was the peak height. The T350 was getting almost like an extra 10 ft of peak height there thereabouts on average, which is really quite impressive. And I think that’s mainly just coming from the ball having more speed on it, it’s going to kind of just continue on that path up to a higher peak height. And then because it’s getting higher, it’s actually landing softer as well um than the ZXi4. Um and that’s resulting in about a 10 yard increase um as well. So I was swinging it marginally quicker. You know, we’re talking.7 of a mile an hour, but um that will probably see an increase of like 1 to two yards really. So, not an increase of of that 10 yard total uh gain that we were seeing seeing. So, I know the ZX i4 won that uh game improvement uh contest of 2025, but if that T3, excuse me, if that T350 was out at the same time, I think that would have been a clear winner. That just come off so hot, but still maintaining that spin even on slight necky strikes and things like that. So, if you’re after something that, you know, is nice and forgiving, it’s going to give you as much distance as you can get out of an iron, but still maintaining a good level of control, and it’s definitely one to to check out. But, um, even if you don’t fancy a full set of them, the whole new T series is designed to be comboed as well. So, maybe just something in the longer irons, too. So, thanks for watching, guys.
