Gray Mcdal remains uncertain about his future with Liv Golf as the 2025 season enters its final stretch. Currently outside the automatic retention zone, Mcdal must finish inside the top 24 in the standings to secure his 2026 place without needing a new contract. Resigned earlier this year by Smash GC captain Brooks Kepka, McDall expressed confidence in his contributions to the team, saying, “As the number four guy, I think I’m pulling my weight. However, if not retained, the former US Open champion is considering a return to the European tour or a transition into full-time media work. Kepker, whose own live contract runs through 2026, also faces questions about his long-term commitment. While he remains under contract, he recently stated, “I’ve got a contract obligation out here to fulfill, and then we’ll see what happens.” Adding uncertainty to his post 2022 plans.
