Trump caught cheating on golf course in Scotland

So, did Donald Trump cheat at a game of golf in Scotland? He’s actually there on a semiofficial tour meeting with the EU going through these tariffs, the neverending tariffs, and they came up with a deal today, 15% tariffs on EU imports to the US. That’s got some attention, but you could be forgiven for thinking he’s there just to play golf cuz that’s what he seems to be doing quite a lot of. There was some pretty damning footage that leaked. Uh we don’t know where this guy had his camera if he was in the bushes somewhere or from the clubhouse, but he had a couple of caddies with him and they looked like something pretty untoward was going on. You look, Link’s courses in Scotland are pretty tough to play on. Lots of rough, you know, the ball can end up all sorts of different places. But the fact that this caddy kind of leans over and it looks like he sort of discreetly tries to drop the ball just outside of the rough. He’s just on the first cut of rough and then Donald rocks up and ah look there’s my ball. I would say the footage suggests absolutely yes. Perhaps the shot that he hit is way further into the thick rough. Maybe it’s in the trap. We don’t know. You know, none of this is really explained or I guess there’s not a lot of proof. But the the way that the caddy does it, it looks it looks pretty shaky. He’s very mad keen about golf. It’s funny that he used to criticize previous presidents and say they shouldn’t be spending so much time on the golf course, but he owns a bunch of golf courses, including in Scotland. We had a story at news.com a couple of years ago when he talked about being 190 cm and 97 kg, which weights that would, you know, dimensions that would put him in line with Muhammad Ali in his prime and Tom Brady playing quarterback. And he also talks about the scores that he shoots on the golf course, which are never verified. Rick Riley famously wrote a a book about him cheating at golf and how that kind of indicates the way that he leads his life, but you know, people can make up their own minds about that. If you ask him, he says he’s a very good golfer. We hear time and again about these club championships that he wins. They always seem to happen at his own golf courses. For for a guy that plays golf as much as he does, and golf’s a pretty public sport where people can get access to you, there is not much footage of him playing golf at all. There was a very famous one that dropped of him playing in LA a couple of years ago where he’s about 30 yards out and he just shanks it. He just slices it like we all can do on a golf course to about 90° to the right. But according to him, he shoots phenomenal scores to to win that club championship in Bedminster. He shot a 67 5 under par. It’s a championship level golf course. He can hit a ball and he plays enough that you’d hope he can hit a ball, but uh I think that’s a bit of a stretch with some of these numbers that he comes up

US President Donald Trump’s “exploits” on the golf course are going viral all over again.

Trump is an avid golfer and has regularly made all sorts of claims about club championship victories and his overall ability on the course.

The 79-year-old is in Scotland for a three-day tour, visiting his own Trump Turnberry course and Trump International Golf Links in Aberdeenshire during the brief visit.

In between rounds, he also joined European Commission President Ursula Von der Leyen to announce the United States’ 15 per cent tariff on all imports from the EU.

But it is a moment from a caddy during Trump’s time on the course on Sunday (Monday AEST) that has also gained plenty of attention.

  2. Millions in tax payer dollars just to golf in public, yet hes talking about “cutting wasteful government spending”

  3. Problem with the video is it does not actually show him hitting the ball. That tends to show this is made up.

I admit he is a cheat and liar at golf…but this video does not prove that.

  4. Considering this is the only source and angle of the ball drop, I can't be certain this is real. The video could be edited.

  5. Is it a competition or just a social game? If I am playing social with nothing at stake, who cares.

  6. A social game. If i was playing i wouldnt call out the potus,no big deal. The woke media trying to lock him up

  7. What a Sad Endorsement that an Aussie Living in Au doesn't have the smarts to support his home Team, but has to support the Socialist UK Football Club, Liverpool, as demonstrated by the extortionate ticket prices of the club and scarf on his wall. Keep promoting inequality across the globe. Give you ticket money and support to clubs in Socialist Regimes long live Socialism!!!

  8. If that was a comp or counting score then, yeah, that is bad from the Trump and the caddy. If it is just a social game and he has lost a ball / can't be bothered looking, dropping another ball isn't an issue – it's just how the caddy does it that makes it look pretty suss!! I think he is an alright golfer but not the handicap he says tbh. As for the shank, everyone does them, even pros, and Justin Rose did two at the Open recently, so can't really use that as evidence to judge him overall!

  9. This guy actually flies his own caddy’s with him as only they know his cheating requirements, all at expense of people working 3 jobs to survive.

  10. Theres another time while he was in Scotland playing golf where he did the 3 practice swings then hit the ball and watched it go, problem was he never actually hit the ball 😂
