The PGA TOUR returns to TPC Twin Cities in Minnesota this week for the 3M Open. Maverick McNealy returns to the “Land of 10,000 Lakes” as the highest ranked golfer in the field and is on the hunt for a spot on the U.S. Team at the Ryder Cup. McNealy finished tied for third last year in Minnesota and has six top 10 finishes in 2025. Joining McNealy is Chris Gotterup, as he returns to the U.S. with momentum on his side. over in the bunker on the right hand side here. Just one shy of the cup mark. He can ill afford any mistakes. Oh, that will get it done. 81st in the FedEx Cup standings. Well, pipe the T- shot. Great approach shot. Apparently, he slept pretty well last night. After a Thursday 62, Dor Bjorn Olison kept it going in today’s second round. Even with a bogey and a double bogey, Olison carded a 66 and he has a one-shot lead in the group. It just felt like everything was so flat for them yesterday. Agreed. [Applause] That’ll help. You got two good looks here for birdie at the 10th. looking to get to eight under. Great. That was so pretty right there by Jake Knap. Second shot for Isaiah Celinda at the par three 13th. Just a little simplistic chip for him. This is you’re thinking make it and thank you. Yeah, he’s thinking make it and he does make it. 70 yards left here at the 11th. Yeah, you want to be just right of this whole location. Be tight to that left hand side. Or you could just go right at it. Why not? Or Bjornne Olison playing his second at 16. Nice bounce back for Olison. Has that for birdie after the double at 15. How Tong Lee at the 13th trying to save a par. Hey, there we go. That’s fabulous. That makes that bunker shot feel a little better. Oh, just going right at it. A tap in for Birdie A with a beauty. I got a big smile on mine. I just I love Willie M’s terminology. Sam Burns to get the three under. Coming off birdie at 14. Two in a row. Oh, you you mentioned this yesterday. Is Sam Burns also has a good round going. Bird’s at 14 and 15. Just over 100 yards in here to 16. And they’ll have about six feet to make it three in a row. Ball striking on point today. Was not yesterday. on the last hole. He was practicing like he put he put this club arm lock. I was like, I wonder if he’s going to try to do that. How about this, Scotty? He’s back. Beautiful T-shot right in the middle of the fairway. No more than a five iron here. Just trying to get it to feed from left to right. He’s posing as he should be. This is an absolute gem right here. Wow. for Mau. It’s nice that the old man in the group hit it the furthest. Adam Scott, this is right at it. Oh man. It’s okay. Here’s a guy who needs to have a big day. Joel Damon. Yeah, let’s go. Beautiful. Keith Mitchell. You see that number 71 in the FedEx Cup standings. Good birdie. That’s better. That’ll help. [Applause] Certainly he wanted to hit it closer than this, but it was a good shot from where he was. Make that about 80 8 ft of putts. Yeah. I mean 11% chance of making that and he said yep. Zack Blair at the eighth. Apparently he’s got the driver worked out. Yeah, it’s a good thing. You know, golf galaxy is always helpful. Sure. Especially when the guy calls you out and tells you he can beat you. That was beautiful. Challenge accepted. The third easiest hole in the golf course and a getable stretch as Vegas is coming into the fifth. And that’s why Johnny Vegas needed one and got one down the left side of this fifth. [Applause] Oh man, beautifully controlled. What? Whatever you can do, I can do better, says Sam Burns. Are you kidding me? Sam Burns. Really stout iron play. He started his day at 10. So he’s wrapping it up on the front side. Here he was at eight. just absolutely annihilating the par threes today with his quality shots, leaving it in the perfect position. A lot more at stake as well. You you know, your career can change tremendously with a win on the PGA Tour. Patia for birdie got it and headed back in the right direction now. Going for it and two. He’s at four under trying to get to six under 238. It’s a great line. He’s walking after it, Susie. Ah, spectacular. How good is that? So, good. Okay, now Sam Burns playing his third at the sixth. Oh, come on. Great shot. Sam having a much better day today. Playing some good golf here. He’s at nine under on the T at eight. Yeah. 93. Really wind. Ah, it’s not as bad as he thought. Got a little break off that slope for sure. This continues to get better. And he’ll walk up there and smile. Stripe show be the number. It is. What a clutch shot right there by Adam Scott. Good choice. [Music] Are you kidding? Hovering right at that minus 6 number which we’re all thinking is going to be the cut. So he certainly wants to get this up and down if not in. That works. Why not in You know what? I’m making this cut. I don’t even think about it at lunch. Think about this. Very nice round going. Looks to be in good position for the weekend and for birdie. Yes. Oh, look at that. The early putter raise. Even better there for Joel Diamond. Minus N. Just off the putting surface. Gordon Sergeant looking for a birdie here at eight. pours it in to get it back to level par. Not going to make the cut this week. Just need to get that in the budget. All right, third shot at the third. Come on now. Takumi Kaya his second shot here at the eighth. He’s got a nice round going. That nice round just got a little bit better there. Bonus from over there on the right side. Zero putt birdie the playoffs and has moved inside. Sei Wu Kim now at four. No surprises heading straight at the flag stick. All right, bud. Shot. The fourth birdie in his last six holes. McNeely. Can he finish off a great trio? The best of them all. Three very nice approach shots. You could see hardly any win this morning. 265s for Pearson. Now Sam Stevens after that great round yesterday, he picked up where he left off, made a couple birdies on his opening nine and got right back on the birdie train. Got the five iron going like 218 right now. 218. This is curving nicely. Still not gala nearly a hole and one at the eighth. Now Maverick McNeely on the T8. Yeah, this looks good as well. Wow. Are you kidding? Camilo Vagus at 17. Go a little bit. Go a little bit. Go a little bit. Oh, it did. Lands in its own pitch mark at the fifth. Luke Clinton for birdie. This hole is playing pretty easy today. One birdie and a nice par save on Luke’s card so far today. And there’s another birdie. The great John Cook will be following that group all afternoon. Adams Fenson a 60 yesterday. He had the lead overnight, but he’s retreated a little bit. Pretty decent wedge pin over here looking up the whole length of the green. That is fantastic. Smart shot just a little bit beyond the flag stick. This in a great line. And what a shot by Rafa Campus. Let’s see if he’s hit this as well as his caddy asked him to. He does. Oh my gosh. He almost almost holds it. His last 11 holes to make the cut. is turning it over right at the flag as well. Oh my gosh, what a game. Ricky is now at four. Valdes for birdie 25 ft going up the slope a little bit. Oh, all of a sudden they’re going in from everywhere. It’s amazing these young guys. They come out so ready to play. They’re not intimidated. But Johnson, as we get older, the putter tends to go away a little bit. Yes, it does. doesn’t. He’s been fiddling with some different Oh, take the seal off. Finally. See if Tony Fen can match what Ricky just did. Really similar line. Oh, come on. Here we go. Now we’re playing, Steve. There we go. And this group needs it. I mean, they were seven over par as a group coming into that hole. Breeze pretty much straight into what breeze there is. That is Oh, he didn’t seem that interested in it, did he? Nice three over. Be lucky to get this within 10 ft. It’s his third at the par five. He’s only making the turn. Just his ninth hole today. Coming all the way across the green. Oh, come on now. That’s how you make a three from the bunker left at 18. And suddenly Ben Kohl’s is right on the cut line after the conversation with Amy. Let’s see what Ricky does. [Applause] Oh yeah. See what happens fellas. We say this every week. It’s the walk and talk birdie. Sam Stevens has reached this par 38. That’s on a good line. Maybe just left of it. Oh, baby. Luke at 14. Perfect T- shot. Little nine iron or pitching wedge right underneath the hole. Pretty quick putt going from right to left. Yep. Yeah. Dials it up from long distance. Torbjorn Olison doesn’t have a lot of experience as far as being in the final group on the weekend of a PGA Tour event. Jake Nap. Thanks for watching the PJ tour on YouTube. 7:27 that was a helluva shot from the rough
It is a tough course and I am here another week with this.
Knapp time
I feel bad for Adam Svensson as I am Canadian and I knew he was having a rough year…but he had two 61s in another tournament, so he can get RED HOT. Today was a tough +4 score of 75 which I would have been proud of at my best but for him it was quite a slide from that opening 60. I hope he gets another 60 to get back into it!
tom kim hole out eagle from 197 yards out not included
crazy work
What is this second rate coverage? It looks 20 years old.
Gotta love these highlights where the first shot they show is at the end of the day and includes a leaderboard spoiling the whole thing
This course looks awesome
no shot tracers? what kind of poverty event is this
soft greens. dead wind. bring it on.
Didn't see any drives in these highlights but the iron play was astounding.
How can you guys not show any shots from A.Noren 🤯 with the best score of the round
This looks like an AI generated compilation where the instruction was "stitch together 12 mins of random golf shots from the day".
First darts tournament I have seen where players are walking on the board… 🤔

Why would you use commentators from the American football branch for golf?!
Seems like Jake Knapp has been on the verge of winning for weeks now, seems like only a matter of time.
