Fire that destroyed golf cart barn at Yahnundasis Golf Club under investigation
it only took three minutes that’s how long I witnesses at the Anna dossett’s golf club in New Hartford say it took for a golf cart storage unit to become fully engulfed in flames firefighters from multiple agencies responded to the scene and it even disrupted traffic lights in the area it’s your top story tonight at eleven officials say golfers in the men’s Twilight League were just returning to the clubhouse after finishing for the night when they noticed flames across the green just before seven tonight it started in the corner of the building and then quickly spread officials say between 37 and 40 cards were destroyed in the fire representatives with the business say the fire will not affect a tournament scheduled for this weekend in fact they have already received calls from the community offering support we’re already receiving contacts from many of our vendors many of our supporters members of the community offering any services or any anything that we need to help us to help us stay in business here and I don’t think we’re going to have any problems in that respect this was a view from our tower cam earlier tonight the thick black smoke could be seen for miles no word yet on a cause no one was injured
