Today is our first look at the new utility range from Tight List. Okay, so we are going to review the new U505 and the T250U. [Music] two clubs that have been introduced alongside this T-series iron range. And it’s really for golfers that perhaps struggle with the long irons, struggle with hybrids. Uh you want something in between a nice easy forgiving uh long iron utility iron. Uh and these two look fantastic. In initial thoughts, we’ve certainly, you know, looking at this U505, uh a much bigger profile than the T250U. So, you know, down in that sort of plane position, much bigger. Uh, looks a lot easier to hit. Um, so I would say this is for perhaps your mid to high handicapper that doesn’t particularly like hybrids. Uh, you may want a utility. This looks very nice indeed. Uh, and the T250U smaller head, you know, quite quite substantially smaller looking down at it. Um, so again, probably for your sort of lower handicapper um looking uh for a little bit of help in the in the long irons. Um, but look great. You know, obviously the T250U uh looks cleaner on the eye, but you know, they do really both look nice certainly from the behind um in the playing position. Again, as I said, that U505 just that little bit quite a bit bigger to be honest uh down looking at the ball. Got a couple of three irons here. So, let let’s hit a few shots. Um, let’s take a look at some of the key numbers. Uh, see how they’re performing. Uh, let’s start off with the U505. So, both forged uh, heads as well. Uh, so it should feel quite nice. Um, as standard, they come with the graphite shafts. Uh, this is the hazardous 6.0 stiff. So, let’s hit a few shots. Yeah, nice. I’ve always been a big fan of these clubs. Um, I my historically my bad shot would be left. Um, I’ve always felt hybrids just kind of just kind of go a little left on me and these utility irons always feel like a bit of a a fairway finder really on the the sort of tight par fours. Again, if you’re looking for that little bit of extra help, this looks like it could be the one. That felt nice. Yeah, that was a good hit. about 220 would feel about right for a three iron. But yeah, that that last one there felt felt really solid. Again, I I like the fact that they brought out a couple of head options because I think quite often you might look at this club and it’s you might think it’s for low handicappers, but actually, you know, a lot of club golfers would benefit from something like this that maybe don’t get on with the hybrids. Yeah, nice and straight, I must say. You know, talk about fairway finder. These are these are nice and solid. Yeah, I’m getting some quite consistent numbers there as well. Yeah, feel nice and solid. Pretty consistent around about that sort of 220 mark. Spin about 4,000, which is good. Not a great hit there, but still got out. Got out there, which is good. Yeah, that was a good hit. 230. Okay, let’s just try one more. But yeah, feels really solid. Really nice. Nice and easy to hit. Yeah, really, really solid job. Again, having hit that, you know, I would feel quite comfortable putting that in the bag. I know at the start I said it was more for sort of mid to high handicappers, but actually on a three iron, you sort of want as much help as as you can, don’t you? So, yeah, felt really good. Quick break. If you’re enjoying this video and want to take your game to the next level, I’ve put together a short practical ebook to help you find the right golf clubs for you based on your swing, budget, and skill level. Whether you’re a beginner or upgrading after years on the course, you can grab it right now using the link in the description below. It’ll save you time, money, and frustration. As a bonus, I’m offering a free online lesson when you buy the ebook. Back to the video. Okay. And into this sort of smaller model, this T250U. So, in line with that sort of T250 iron series. Um, more of a that hollow hollow bodied construction, smaller profile. Um, looks certainly nicer on the eye. Let’s let’s just essentially see how uh how forgiving it is. But yeah, it looks very nice. you know, down in that plane position, we can’t see as much of that sort of cavity back behind, which I think may put some people off, but this this is nice. Felt good that one. Nice and solid. Yeah, decent spin there at 4,000. Yeah. And even that last shot there where I felt like I pulled to me that shot with a hybrid’s going even further left where this one, you know, I do feel like with these utilities, they are generally a bit straighter. Yeah, felt good. Yeah, quite long there. Yeah, 238 yards there. That really got out there. Bit of a knuckle ball, low spin. And yeah, although it looks a bit smaller in terms of profile, it does feel quite easy to hit still. Yeah, nice. Again, yeah, I would have no hesitation putting this in the bag to be honest, having hit them both. Now, uh obviously the U505 is for your higher handicapper. Beautiful. Yeah, that felt great. Okay, let’s just try one more with this. Not as good, but again, still quite forgiving. Uh yeah, I think tights have done a really good job with this. Um I say utilities not for everyone, but actually if you’re somebody that I say doesn’t like the hybrids, uh definitely, you know, one of these could be a good option for you. Let’s take a look at the dispersion. Okay, into that dispersion. Yeah, I mean T250 was or T250U was certainly smaller. Uh and I felt I felt like I had a little bit more control with that. U505, yes, going to be more forgiving, but there is a couple of loose ones there. Um, but yeah, again, you know, looking at that, they’re all near enough on the fairway, aren’t they? Which for me is obviously the big thing. And then just looking at some of the key numbers, interesting enough, got a bit more ball speed out the T250 was definitely just striking it that little bit better. Both launching similar as we’d expect. Overall height, spin about about 3,000. And then distances, you know, 205 for 223 with the T250U. Um, and again, around about sort of 220 uh with the U505. So, yeah. And again, that side’s a big one, isn’t it? You know, plus or – 9 ft with the T250, plus or minus 22 ft with the U505. So, you know, for me, actually, out of the two, I think the T250U was better for me. Clearly that U505 is going to be great for some of you high handicappers that have struggled uh you know with the uh with the hybrid clubs. Thanks always for watching guys.
