After a bogey-free second round from Lahi W, she’s now in a prime position to find the winner circle in her LPGA Tour debut as a pro at the ISPS Hannah Women’s Scottish Open. I’m Adam Stanley and this is LPGA now presented by Serpro. Let’s get into it. Was now played just two rounds as a pro, made three birdies in her first night on Friday at Dundon Lynx before adding four more coming home. happy with that. Obviously, uh bogey free is always nice and was just hit a lot of greens, hit a lot of fairways and then hold a few nice bots. She shot a seven under 65 on Friday and in fact has not yet made a bogey as a professional. She leads Nelly Corda and Nana Curts Madson by two shots heading into the weekend. Wo statistically had an identical ball striking day on Friday as compared to Thursday, but she was on fire with the putter on the second day. Yeah, I mean I’m obvious just kind of trying to continue the momentum really. Um was obviously trying to play well and yeah, just just just got confidence and just trying to keep on doing that. Corda, the game’s number one ranked golfer, shot a six under 66 on Friday. There was just one blemish on her scorecard, a bogey on the par five 18th, but she otherwise had a very tidy second day in Scotland as she hunts for her first win of the season. Madson, meanwhile, is looking for her third top 10 finish of the year. She had a miraculous ball striking day, hitting 16 of 18 greens, despite hitting only six fairways on route to making seven birdies. down the hill, left to right, and in it goes. We have a new leader at the top. On a lovely local note, Scotland’s own Gemma Dryberg had a hearty comeback on Friday after shooting a 78 on Thursday. Dryberg birdied her final hole of the day to shoot 67 and make the cut on the number. Be sure to follow along with third round action from Scotland online starting at 8:00 a.m. Eastern with a encore presentation on Golf Channel at 700 p.m. And I will of course have everything you need to know in the next edition of LPGA Now presented by SurfPro.
