I’m relatively new to golf and don’t want to get stuck in any bad habits.

I would say the setup posture is a bit rough. And on the backswing can see weight coming off front foot which indicates a sway away from the ball, which you really need to fix (major cause of mishits and bad contact). Also still looks quite arms driven, where you want to feel like the arms aren’t doing much and the shoulders/chest drive the backswing and downswing, and arms just follow behind. Turn more!

Are u taking lessons? You really really should. There’s a lot wrong here and you’re better off getting proper instruction than cherry picking from comments and trying to fix one off things.

Set up is not great. Watch how some pros line up their shots.

Your swing is off balance and all arms. You look like you’re trying to swing a straight stick connected to your shoulder. You want it to feel more fluid – almost like you are cracking a whip where the club head is popping on the ball.

Weight shift does not need to be as dramatic. Combine that with how fast your back swing is, you cannot possibly stop, turn, and control the weight shift back to your front foot and towards the target.

Slow down the back swing and try to control the swing more than straight powering through it. The ball is small. The club is hard. You don’t have to kill either one of them for the ball to go far. The only time you should be concerned with hitting “harder” is when you’re already making clean contact. And even then, increasing club head speed is more about clean and efficient techniques than it is power.

If you want to fix bad habits now and want to really get into it. Dive into Pros vs Ams series on YT by Athletic Motion Golf. They lay out the most common amature mistakes and misconceptions in the golf swing.

Your grip needs to be in a more neutral position at set up, meaning the top of your left hand should be pointing more toward the sky while you hold the club in your fingers.

Your feet are too close together and do not have a slight flare to make rotation and weight shift easier. And you are standing a little too far from the ball.

You are not bending your back hip in your back swing and it looks like you are swaying off the ball.

You are not hinging your wrist through the swing.

Tempo seems out of sequence. Try counting one… two… THREE where the one and two are the slower back swing to let the club gain momentum while you hinge and shift and the transition into the backswing and impact at three while holding a pause at the follow through to promote balance and good form.

Improve your setup, posture, and grip. Tons of info and videos out there.

Get lessons. If you can’t afford lessons, then watch these videos to gain some fundamental concept knowledge. Then, someday when you can afford lessons, take lessons.

Aside from setup, you need to understand how the golf swing fundamentally works. Your swing is all arms right now. You need to learn how to rotate your torso, which is your center of mass. Your arms hands and club need to learn to stay connected to that center of mass throughout the backswing and downswing.
