Overcast conditions for the second round of the ISPS Hander Women’s Scottish Open coming from Dun Donald Links, an event co-sanctioned between the Ladies European Tour and the LPGA Tour. Lauren Cogland, the defending champion and after a 69 on day one, the American followed up with a 71. She’s just outside the top 10 at four under par. Only one bogey so far this week for Irish Solheim Cup star Leona Maguire the 71 in her second round taking her to six under par. Korean rookie on the LPGA tour in Yune made a great run around the turn. This birdie at nine won of four in five holes in a round of 67. She’s seven under par at the halfway stage. How about this for a moment for fellow Korean Hoju Kim at 18 chipping in for Birdie for a player who’s been a winner on both the le and LPJ tours this season. The world number 10 at 8 under par as is the world number one. Nelly Cer living up to her billing starting the day at four under. She was moving nicely through the field. Mana Madson set the pace in the morning wave the Dane with seven birdies in a round of 66 after an opening 68 that took her to 10 under par and she was caught in the afternoon by English sensation Lotty W making her pro debut after winning in Ireland and being third at Evian as an amateur. W moved to minus 10. It’s going to be a thrilling weekend on the west coast of Scotland.

  1. For such an important event the coverage on Sky UK and LET YouTube page has been woeful at best. I love watching the tour and feel cheated we didn't get to see a full days play or at the very least decent highlights of what we missed, I was desperate to see how the ever cheerful Nuria Iturrioz had got on. The current success and extraordinary talent Lottie Woad should really be being promoted and elevated by the Tour and Sky, it will grow the audience especially youngsters which is the viewership you want to capitalise on for now and the future.
