who uh was known as Johanna Gustafson. Married lady past couple of years to an Englishman. Alex don’t want to be looking at that pin today. That’s a perfect shot there, isn’t it? Keep it down that right side. Oh, it’s hit the flag. What a great shot there by Faway. That’s where she’s from. Was too under par for our opening round. Jonah Wrigley up at the par 518th her ninth hole of the day. Chloe’s uh been quiet on tour this year. Was used to seeing her up on leaderboards. I did speak to her a few weeks back and she’s saying that playing up the hill, it’s going to be a slow part. Oh, in it goes. Willing it in there, wasn’t she? Well, Nana Madson, the leader, wins off the right here and she’s played that in beautifully. This is the par 3 sixth with the ladies European tour order of merit leader Mimi Rhodess started at plus four. So has that to try and get back to where she started. It’s not happened. And I think she I think that’s probably the the bit that she’s more disappointed with. Talking of shocks to the system, here’s Shannon Tan is three over par. Now we know on the ladies European tour hidden for link Scottish standards, it’s a really strong wind out there. She’s hit two cracking shots into 16. Shame the putt was as weak as it was. I think what makes it difficult today is there’s a lot of elevated greens. There’s a lot of runoff areas. So any any kind of wind out there, even if it’s just a club. Shannon Tan, 21y old from Singapore. This is downhill left to right and in it goes. Won earlier this season in Germany. Well, Lauren Cogland hadn’t won and then she won twice in 21 days. This was the second of those wins. Pin positions very similar to yesterday’s round. Doug leg from right to left. The hardest part of this is the drive. Madson’s negotiated that second into 17. This is a second to the 10th into off the right. Beautiful shot. Fancies this one. Loves the chip in, doesn’t she? Grace Kim. Lauren Coglin. This for Birdie. Not much movement. Oh, in it goes. Okay, first of the day. Couple under par. Yeah, Nana Matson’s played one Soulheim Cup. She’d love to get herself in the team for next year. So close to getting to eight under there. She’s got to be amongst the names on Anorquist. A beautiful approach here. Surely a birdie here at 10 for Shannon Tan. Okay, one over par and making don’t get your ey mixed up. This is Chisato winner on the LPGA Tour this year. 119 yds back into a stiff wind. Lovely shot into 11. Keep it down the right hand side here. [Music] 119 yds into the breeze today. Pin on the right side. They want to use that slope that sits just to the right of this pin. Fur trying to knock one in low here to this par three into the wind. Lovely shot. Got it surrounded. This a 10 pins on 11 10 from the left. So you go straight at this. Beautifully done. By the way, I know a few people are asking. Unfortunately, Skippy never made it. Well, she’s an experienced player who relishes these conditions. Frustrated. I mean, given Amy the bravery of the second to not give herself a better birdie. This is on 10. It’s downhill coming from right to left. Oh yes. [Music] [Applause] Well, the fight that could continue here for Grace Kim. Yeah, another one. So that cut line gets a little closer for the Evian Champion. Been pretty dry. There have been some spots of rain along the way, but nothing that will bother the players too much. Sean Kim, this will scare the hole. Oh, it’s in the hole. and into the lead at eight under par for the Korean. Back to 11. Grace Kim 119 yds on the par three. Well, she’s back in the groove very much so. Two two over par today and an old Chris. Hopefully that’s going to change here for J to left edge drops. Wang for birdie and it goes gets to minus five [Applause] and then you’re turning on to 11. You think, oh, that wind’s really stiffened up. Trading by one now. And then I imagine she was on a similar line to Lauren Coglin. I’ve had a good look at hers. Straight in. Good things come to those who wait. Anna Madson in it goes. She now gets the top of the leaderboard alongside. Beautiful shot. German excellence. Efficiency. Now tying for Norquist into the 11th hole and back into a face from the right hand side. Great shot that. That would have looked brilliant in the air. That team is finalized after next week’s AIG Women’s Open. Sean Kim this to get to nine under and in it goes. Well, we’ve seen this from her before. Oh, I mean this is a player who shot 31 under power on for a player who seems forever in the top 20. Seems strange to say and there’s another one getting to nine under. Well, there is birdies out here. Have to keep this one down the high side. Aim at the ball marker of Norquis. loops that one in in front of the captain. Well, did well not to go in the burning shu Kim. And that’s what you call a bonus birdie. Another Kim chipping in at the power five. Carlos one. Just a par there for Norquist. Pin Delicor out in front at the moment. Inner Yun probably one of the biggest hitters that’s come out of Korea ranked just outside the top 20 in the world. So watch out for Inune. That was almost in from Miranda Wang. Co-leader Se Young Kim dialed in right now. Georgia Hall. This is a second to 13. Just a wedge down off the left front pin. Can go straight at it. And she’s going to be using this back stop that is going to come all the way back down and feed closer and closer to the pin. [Applause] 15 under has won here the last couple of years. In it goes from Inu. That’s a nice little run she’s putting together there. Sure the same debates were going on. Georgia Hall for birdie to get to three ender. Signs are looking good there aren’t they Amy? They are very comfortable on links golf to get to double digits as young Kim just comes up a little bit shy. I’m surprised. I was expecting her to make that. Well, five over par. Time is running out for Chisata. Ey tough pile 315th into off the left today. And that is a great shot. That’s going to feed all the way back down. Madson for another. This for the outright lead. She didn’t bird the 80 the par five the par five winning a major at the 75th attempt Amy Yang grabs a bit of the hole there. You must have played with her out when she did when she came out on the le but struggles after finding the bunker off the tier at four and that’s going to be a first bogey of the day. Yeah, I was just about to say I don’t think there’ll be a birdie here today. But Amy Taylor has got one, so I’ll be surprised if there is is more than five par three. Brutal into the wind. Yeah. And conditions are a lot tougher today, but you look at the scoring and it’s not that dissimilar. Good. Good birdie. kept her concentration well there with playing partners missing the green. She waited a long time over that eagle but Cogland off the back of the birdie at 14 161 yds plays into off the left playing at least 175 and that is a great shot in there. It’s going to come back a little bit more towards the hole. That’s the best shot she’s hit all day. Not much movement in this one. Down the hill and in it goes all aboard the birdie train. Coglin gets the bought and Madson on the par five. Nice shot in. Going to have a good look at Birdie for Sean Kim. Ingred Limblad mops up for Birdie. Gets that shot. She dropped back again. Good up and down Kim. He’s going to move from left to right across the green. A little heavyhanded. You see that flag just for Caris Davidson. Four over par through eight holes. Double breaker down the hill and finishes with a birdie. So she’s got it back to level par for the round. Good two foot there. What is that just inside the borders? Is it? Yeah. People s kind of saw, you know, what life outside of golf was like and decided, okay, I’m going to give it another go and has come back really strongly this year on the LPGA tour. It’s kind of given her a reason to play golf again. Sarah Smezel up the hill turning from right to left and it goes. Yes, it does. Gets to minus four. One bogey needs a birdie you think here to make the cut or have any chance at least. Well done. And I think she knows it from that little fist pump there. Absolutely. She must have known that that was an important put. See young Kim this to get the outright lead. Leaves are in the jaw short. safely aboard on the seventh for Madson. Oh, what a save. Fantastic up and down from the German. As you were saying, Sophie, this just went by a little more than she would like. Nana Madson Good two. Sean Kim for birdie. She takes the outright lead minus nine for with a lovely birdie too. That’s three birdies in the last five holes. Georgia want to take this one up the left hand side. Come back now. Nice birdie there on 17 for Georgia Hall. Yeah, really important bounce back that after Seyan Kim second to the seventh wind into off the right young Kim now is Nana Madson. Here she is at eight. Front pin on eight. Off the left. The wind. Good distance. Pin high. Little bit right to left in this. Nice finish. Birdie up 18. We like to think that’s maybe one shot short. Sarah Schmemellzel for Birdie gets to minus five. Nana Madson for Birdie. This to match the leader. Right to left and in it goes. Nana Madson gets to minus N. Sean Kim from the right hand side here. Do not be short and left. That’s the place to be. No one’s got to 10 yet. Oh, we see it. Wang into eight. Nana Madson amongst them. Downwind approach shot. Wedge. Little bit of spin. He’s going to finish behind the hole. Well, Nana Madson to take the outright lead down the hill left to right and in it goes. We have a new leader at the top outright. Playing with Sean Kim Miranda Wang beard on eight today which would be her first of the day. Too little so late you would think is seeing a finish at two over this for birdie. Very nice. Played well today. 90 yards left. It’s one of those if you’re in between clubs, you’re always going to play that option. Well, Sean Kim this to tie the lead with Nana Madson. Going to come a little bit from left to right at the end, but not enough. Remember this is the morning wave we’re watching. So as things stand, she’ll tap that in. Round of 67 sits second on the leaderboard.

  1. Shame in this day and age they can’t wait till the 2nd half of the field plays before they do highlights of a round. And that they only have enough cameras to cover half a dozen players and spend most of the time watching them putt. You’d think golf was big enough and prize money high enough to spare more than a couple of cameras following 2 groups in the morning session only.

  2. THEY WANT US TO WATCH (the LPGA)…but when they spend more time on certain SPECIAL people when there are many more who need to be seen. Also, the out of USA groups often receive more coverage than the ones sponsored by the USA!!!

  3. I wonder how many of you know that Yuka Saso & Rose Zhang were put on the reserve list for this tournament & never made the final field?
    ***How utterly ridiculous is that?
***They leave out two of the best players in the world at the expense of no-hoper LET players & invitees.
***What total f*ckwits organzing that tournament.

  4. I like it that you covered as many players as possible in this clip and not focused on just the top 4-5 players. ❤

  5. Once again, poor LPGA LET coverage from Sky and their partners. Changing the stream to the Senior competitioon shows a lack of faith in the future…..the YouTube coverage is just as bad when comparing it to the PGA YouTube content. So disappointed !

  6. So disappointed sky only showed the morning players was looking forward to seeing Leona lotti and others in the afternoon but instead showing men's senior very poor decision

  7. You should be embarrassed by the lack of coverage, no sign of the leader or the #1 player in the world. Shameful.
