FORT ST. JOHN, B.C.  — Taylor is expanding its storage facilities at the Lone Wolf Golf Club.

During the July 21st regular council meeting, the District of Taylor council approved the construction of two storage sheds for the Lone Wolf Golf Club course.

The district had previously approved the project with a budget of $120,000 in the 2024 capital budget. The project initially specified the construction of a single shed, and Inglehart and Sons Construction submitted a quote for $40,962.61 per shed.

The project specified the district’s intentions to build as many sheds as possible for $100,000, with the remaining $20,000 going towards preparing a solid subbase and gravel pad for the structures.

Considering the company’s bid, the district elected to construct two sheds at a total cost of $81,924.

The project will now move into the next phase of development, with the district coordinating construction deadlines with the company. The report from staff specified the company has stated construction could be completed within 90 days of being awarded the contract.
