for a few months and now I’m bringing you some golf ball hunting that’s fantastic yep we’re actually filming this on the day of the glob ball tournament here at Newport which is when we did our UV river is about to pay out I tell you what wao beautiful premium golf ball there check this one out guys this is what they don’t show you in the other golf ball hunting videos oh no let’s freaking go right to the top look at that that’s a good sight to see when your golf ball hunting I’ll tell you what so today I think we’re just going to enjoy the golf ball hunting right wait is this like a range ball right off the bat I think it is oh no it’s a range ball right off the bat absolute stinker but you know ball number one we got to start somewhere right thought I saw another green or yellow one as we were driving in yes indeed that’s a little bit better got some grass with it here upgrading to the Callaway super fast all right ball number two is in the books it is a color hopefully you can find some cool colors and patterns here we are down along the side of hole number 10 right now the tournament is starting out on the front looks like a bear ran through here all the branches are chopped down and smooshed I guess there’s a chance we could run into Bears tonight Sarah did you bring the bear spray don’t worry Patrick I’ll draw us an anti- SE Bear Circle in the dirt I can see deep in there but I don’t see any any balls feel spiders or something come on golf balls where are you oh I see one he’s deep in there the camera can’t see him you know what I’ll get him out for you guys hold on right there it’d be nice if it was premium urethane I think I see Titus but I don’t know if it’s urethane we are saying it is urethane we got a Prov one from 2023 beautiful premium golf ball there and a great start for us should we look for anything cool today should we do like a let’s do like a top three balls we’ll do like a little Podium thing here we’ll see uh we’ll see which is the best three balls we find should we do it by like coolness Rarity I don’t know I guess that just means I’m in charge again right I love democracy what are you looking at what is that oh it’s that green heron I learned about from a while back what was I saying coolness coolness we’re going to take like the top three cool balls so we’ll make that Prov one currently in the number one spot uh we’re not going to put any of the other balls in any of the spots right now we just have one on the podium right now I’m going to quantify coolness that’s how we’re going to do it we’re going to go for cool patterns cool colors rare balls fun logos oh I see one in here and I think it has a pattern this isn’t poison ivy right jokes I know what poison ivy is this is not poison ivy it’s just pois Su it’s just something way worse here we go here we go OB check this one out guys we got a tailor made and it’s a tp5 it’s the older version cuz it’s got the triangles on there but that’s going to take the number one coolness spot for now onto the podium for the tp5 knocking the standard Prov one from 2023 down to the silver medal position all right and there’s another one back here I saw I don’t think it’s cool but you won’t know until we get it out it is simply a pinnacle soft you got it I hope you guys do enjoy these videos as much as I do and we’ve been working hard to try to get you some of these over the winter here as well since it’s kind of the dry season here in New Hampshire you can’t get out and golf that’s for sure what do we come up with here it is a prov1x from the Year this is testing me now 209 I’m almost positive 2009 prov1x all right I guess that is the the Third Place Podium right now so we got the two provies and the tp5 at the top spot maybe there’s a few more back here we can get to but this is super thick definitely am not going to be getting through this without the hip waiters or something a little bit more extreme this path was already carved out when I got here so I was at least able to step back here I don’t think we should throw the hip waiters on yet nah don’t need to but let’s uh let’s carry on a little bit further down the bank here ah it’s fine I don’t see anything yet just looking around oh I do see one I see two nothing worth zooming in for it’s a Nitro ultimate distance and I think I saw a Srixon sitting next to it I did and it’s a Srixon soft feel all right two more in the bag nothing to get onto the podium with though oh I see a green guy over there well we’ve got a green Callaway super soft nice all right bug spray time I status intact well I think I can go back there and get them you guys might have to stay out here but all right this is the first one I saw what do we got here it is looks like a tiess velocity definitely not going to crack the podium that’s for sure into the bag he goes I I saw a couple more this is also a titlist and he is he’s a prov1x from 2019 and it says the law offices of Jeff mados I think we’ve found this ball before he definitely makes the podium um we’ll give him we’ll give him the number two slot I think actually because he’s got a cool logo and he’s from 2019 so we’ll count that and then next oh this one actually looks decent there we go it’s a tailor made tp5 from 2024 it’s this year’s model we’re going to put that into the number two spot actually so we got the cool tp5 with the triangles on it from the previous year we’ve got this tp5 bugs from the current year and we’ve got the law offices prov1 there as well all right I’ll see if I find any more in here for you guys and I’ll bring them to the camera limited walking options but I’m going to poke around a little good thing you guys didn’t follow me I didn’t find anything that great I found a few things that I’ll show you but nothing that cracks the podium we got a pink guy maybe another Prov one maybe another tailor made was that like a project a or something we got here so nothing that’s going to be on the podium we’ll stick with what we got for now let’s move on to a better area where we don’t have to crawl through the woods let’s go this is where we filmed the new outro just like me up here see on the screen what’s happening but we’re hoping to go down to the Little River here for a little while do a little river walk that would be nice see if we can get anything oh my God yes we can get something Sarah Sarah you see what I see down there Sarah oh no do you see orange stripy boy let’s get them it’s kind of pink I I I don’t think they made a pink which is why I’m going with orange oh there’s fishies down there too so I I think it’s orange but if it’s pink even better because I’ve not heard of that before should we just start with that one mine as well right start with a bang this one’s going straight to the top of the podium I’ll tell you that and it is pink take a look here hopefully you guys can see that one it’s the tailor made T response with the pink alignment band there precept MC spin 392 if you guys didn’t know usually the number if it’s in the 300s there is usually how many dimples the ball has they used to do that back in the day just to kind of let you know how many dimples are on the ball is that relevant not really but it looks cool all right and is this a ball the question we all want to know it it is a ball and what is it probably a light extreme right it is oh it’s a good one it’s a Kirkland it is a Kirkland performance plus it’s the three-piece Kirkland not the four piece four piece is super rare to find the tour performance but that is nice all on the side of it which is pretty cool oh I forgot to put the uh The Divide on the podium all right forget it divides on the podium the tiger ball didn’t make it sorry tiger I need a biger Podium yeah you’re telling me feel free to pick up any balls you find just film it don’t go back go forward really big spider there are some balls up here you can grab all right the bag needs to depart it’s Wilson hope ball that is cool we’re going to go ahead and put him on the podium cuz I’ve not found something like this before that weird like kind of like very very faint green like almost like a a clear mint that is cool cool put him on the number three spot on the podium get the Divide out of there or whatever was previously there cuz that’s a cool one right next to a pinnacle gold distance garbage but that’s a cool ball Beauty top pocket for you my friend actually the pocket’s blocked right now can’t get to it all right got a couple down here we got a pair to grab Nitro ultimate under there it is a chrome soft true track from 2024 with those beautiful rollers right there hi Sarah how do I think the bag’s about to be full yeah my pockets are full oh my gosh look at this sunset the last spot of the video because we were so productive in those woods we got so many balls I can’t wait to run them through the ball washer check them out and see what we got so we got this nice beautiful River here out in front of us I see some balls sitting up it’s nice and peaceful there’s no golfers out here right now it is absolutely gorgeous and I’m happy to take you guys along with me so we’re going to let Sarah rest here on the bank with the camera get some good shots I’m going into golf ball hunting mode see if we can find anything cool that will break onto the podium and In this River hello dragonfly you led us to the first ball what do we got stuck under the log saved oh he’s been there a while that’s an oldie but a goodie titless velocity look like one of the first versions of the Velocity too and it is a oh it’s a Top Flight gamer from this year I don’t think I found this year’s model gamer yet which is kind of cool neat and that looks like it’s going to be above my hip waiter so we’re not going to jump in there just yet we’re going to grab this guy here orange guy out in the water is that like a Ram or something what color is this orange whose orange is this oh it’s a Nitro ultimate distance with the extra alignment Aid orange that’s whose orange that was I did really good orange or I did really good color predictions earlier when I was walking around the woods balls that you could never tell what it was but I could tell what it was just by the color now unfortunately we’re in the zone where I have to hold up the bag there’s probably better like golf ball scarios for carrying them like maybe some sort of backpack but but the issue is that uh these balls are very wet and dirty and would just seep through and destroy a backpack and I just have a wet golf ball sludge on my back which would be horrible anyway that was a AVX which is cool we’ve got a nice little pattern here we’ve got a tailor made tp5x from the previous year like the 2022 is model or something like that cuz it’s got the triangles on him I see a Callaway down here I think we found this marking before maybe it’s just common with the three dots kind of above the Callaway logo o and this water’s getting chilly too I wasn’t that deep in the last one but this one is cold oh yeah we got a bunch of golf balls here I’m going rapid fire mode for you guys sorry if you can’t see them I’ll hold up the good ones tiess velocity here followed up with a precept power drive I believe yes indeed there’s probably some up on the bank too but we’re in River mode at the moment definitely could start seeing Wildlife out here too this is uh an area where we’ve seen muskrats before not on camera but we’ve seen them we know they’re here there’s a chance maybe we get some foxes or something Bridgestone urethane Tor BRX but I mean there probably are bags that would do that maybe like a dry bag or something Bridgestone lady you can tell it’s a lady cuz it’s got like the all blue blue be in the Bridgestone that’s how you know or you could just read it like a normal person out of the way spider the precept latty extreme oh I think it’s a snail yeah this is a cool one this is a snail Prime 4.0 I talked about this before well the article would have been out like 3 months ago now but the Snell 3.0 tested horribly in the my golf spy independent testing like the balls weren’t round they had concentricity issues everything was off center it was really bad so hopefully they’ve gone and fixed that by now he might be blue soccer ball actually which is cool I’m hoping it’s something different and not just like the normal soccer ball that’s a Titleist true feel oh I think we got him yes here we go it’s a Callaway Chrome soft blue soccer ball Edition I don’t think it quite makes the podium but I don’t know if I’ve ever actually found a blue soccer ball before there’s the red there’s the yellow and black I definitely found green I don’t know if we found blue so I’m pretty happy with that one even though it’s kind of just like a standard ball that is cool and yes check it out 360 Chrome soft triple track from 2024 now we’re golf ball hunting oh yes we found a fun one it is another speed soft blue we can’t find any other colors besides blue today but it’s a speed soft ink pattern blue I’ll probably show this one to you guys when I get back over closer to the camera but that’s a great find oh it smells so bad over here guys just be glad you’re over there for the time being okay it’s a brand new provy one I’m glad we fished him out 2023 little tailor made tp5 here we’re getting some good urethane I’m not sure how the balls get here but we’re finding some urethanes latty extreme tax paid pre mty extreme tax paid again just paying my taxes out here I said it once before but this looks like where like the giant mega fish would hang out this little spot just off the river this is where like the 40 lb fish lives some sturgeons in there waiting for me like you could not pay me to go in this water even though I know there’s nothing in it it’s freaking me out man weirdly deep oh no it’s a chromax ball oh this is a cool one it’s not making the podium but I only found a couple chromax balls before it looked like it was glowing in the water but it’s just cuz it’s so shiny and metallic that’s a cool one oh my God precept L extreme tax paid again it’s just an unmarked ball there are some balls down there don’t think I can reach him with the Jaws at the moment I think we just going to oh that’s too big that’s a Magna yeah it’s a Magna back back down oh I see him nice one Callaway super soft oh there’s a soccer ball out here got to get it luckily it’s pretty shallow hey there we go nice little soccer ball for the collection there Chrome soft definitely a few more in here Pinnacle gold 90 this looks like the color of a true feel and it is a yellow true feel got to try to get all these and then call it that’s a good question Sarah you me to here are the cool ones we found in the river there we’ve got the Callaway soccer ball yellow and black edition this was that really cool chromax metallic ball that we found like I said we found two of those previously but I haven’t found one in a while so that’s pretty neat we got a Vice Pro speckly here we got the orange and blue variant and of course we’ve got the Callaway 360 splatter which is very cool indeed all right let’s dump these in the bin and see what else we got and lastly load there we go okay that is enough for this video I’m about to go film the UV video that you guys have seen already hopefully we find some great stuff and have a lot of fun with that but as for this video let’s go get these balls cleaned up go to the garage and I’ll show you what we found and we’ll go over the data let’s go well ladies and gentlemen what an exciting golf ball hunt that was I want to do something a little bit different this time I actually want to show you all the cool logo balls that we found because we found a ton of logos out there and I know a lot of you enjoy collecting logos so let’s flip this camera around and I’ll show you guys all the cool logos that we got out there today all right we’re just going to do this right in line here we found so many awesome logos and I just want to go through some of the cooler ones with you guys you can see them we always find a ton of these Cardinal logo balls because I think one of the schools that plays at Newport is the Cardinals that’s what they go by so we always find a couple Cardinals balls every time we are out there we got the montomoli know we’ve played that course before absolutely beautiful some other great ones we got the Mna one out there we’ve got a couple cool ones down here couple cool courses I like this one we’ve got the uh the cow out there that one’s one of my favorite finds of the day and then we’ve got a whole bunch over here starting here we found one of the world long drive Top Flight bombs from I think a couple years ago these were made specifically for the world long drive and I think that’s the ball I actually got my ball speed record on so that’s pretty cool we got the Coca-Cola in there we got the absolute in there as well gift of adoption hoil Tanner and of course over here we’ve got a cool Mother’s Day golf ball as well this one has the red flower on the side of it which I think is one we have already but now after seeing all those logos let’s talk about some of the cooler finds of the video let’s start out over here actually we found this cool hope golf ball which has this like translucent light yellow color to it I forget what I actually called it in the spreadsheet I called it like sunflower or corn flour or something like that for that color because it’s so cool and then we have this pinkish orangish reddish K uh it looks a little bit more red here but it’s actually a little bit more orangey pink in real life I believe that went in there as Peach for the spreadsheet because that’s what um that’s what they listed on the website for tailor made they list this as the Caya peach color we’ve got the Bridgestone tour B do XS the dot means it’s the co ball we’re still looking for the Bridgestone tour BR rxs and RX those are the two dot balls that we don’t have yet so this one’s close but not quite and then of course we have some nice titlist Pro one custom number balls here let’s go ahead and take a look and see what ones we have and what ones we don’t so starting off we know we’ve got number nine we’ve got all the numbers up to 14 I believe and then this we found one of these a couple weeks ago the Happy Father’s Day and then the I’m a criminal on the side with the play number nine so that was definitely from the same person same custom order from the website so I was pretty happy to see another one of these in the golf ball set for today so that’s pretty cool we’re pretty sure here we have number 33 already we have a bunch of the double numbers it’s interesting that they’re both 33 so I check the year we’ve got this one which is a lot older I think that’s like 2015 or something maybe even 2011 and then we’ve got this one the proview one from 2023 so different years for those two double numbered 33s which is pretty cool we already have number 13 but now the question is do we have 55 and do we have 65 let’s check it out all right let’s start with number 55 here and see what we’ve got here 34 35 54 55 the spot is open and this one goes in is that the cleanest side I should probably clean this one up a little more maybe that is a little bit better beautiful 55 added to the collection in the 1 to 99 challenge next up 65 all right here we go 65 coming up next what do we got over here 1 2 3 we got to go all the way to the other side four five there is a gap for it exactly what you love to see fill that bad boy in and check that out guys there we go two more added to the collection here I can’t even get the whole thing in there for you these things are pretty cool they work on your desk or mounted on the wall and that’s exactly what we’re using to take a look at all of these one to 99 beautiful prob1 custom numbers all right back to the rare golf balls there are just two more I wanted to talk talk about and one of them is the cut blue DC we don’t find many cut balls and I think this was my first ever cut blue DC so I wanted to toss this one in there thought that was a pretty cool find it’s always good to find a golf ball that you have not found in the collection before so that’s pretty neat and speaking of that we have the winner for the entire video the number one Podium spot it’s the tour response pink variant from tailor mate I did a bunch of research on this and I honestly couldn’t find that much about it I don’t know if it was a limited release or just released in a certain area or for a certain time I don’t actually know I was able to find some boxes of them but I don’t really know much about them they’re obviously not for sale anymore so I think it was just a limited run but hey this is an absolutely beautiful one I’m definitely adding it to my collection of kind of rare cool colored golf balls and patterns this is a huge win for the day and speaking of wins for the day let’s go ahead and check out the data and see what it said because we found some pretty cool patterns out there today in the data let’s check it out here we go ladies and gentlemen hopping right into the data here we found a grand total of 392 golf balls out there at Newport today absolutely great haul for us and if we scroll all the way down to the bottom here we will see that we found an average value per ball of 78 now that is a lot lower than normal and I think I know why this is why we take all this data right we can look through it find the cool patterns and explain some of the anomalies that we see so let’s go ahead and jump into it and check it out so if we hop to the the quality charts here this really shows the story so as you can see here the premiums you know they were a little lower than normal but nothing too crazy there it’s kind of like within the expected possibilities here expected outcomes anyway good again a kind of significant amount lower than normal and junk a lot higher than normal so the question is why did we find more junk this time when we were hunting at Newport than the other times because obviously we’ve hunted Newport like probably five or six times at this point maybe even more than that but why was this one so much higher the answer has to do with where we were hunting we were hunting in some specific areas in some of the rivers and some of the spots that were actually a little bit closer to the driving range and so those balls end up in the river if you hit it beyond the driving range they go into the river and they kind of can flow down or funnel down into some of the areas that we hunt and we found a ton of range balls in the collection today so I put all of the range balls no matter what their quality is I always put them into junk because you’re never going to be using them out on the core so every range ball that I find even if it’s like a premium brand new Range ball it goes right into junk cuz it’s not USGA approved you can’t really use it out on the golf course can’t shouldn’t so we found a very very high number of range balls and most of them were actually yellow which you’re about to see in a couple more charts here the yellow golf balls were very high as well and that kind of helps prove this point but first we will hop over to the brands here and check it out so we’ve got of course Titus taking home the cake as usual with 25% Callaway was not that far behind actually this time at 6 % I think that’s fairly high for Callaway tailor made up there at 11 as well Bridgestone very high mostly because a lot of the range balls that we found were Bridgestone so that’s why Bridgestone got booted up so high for this one which is pretty cool uh some other high ones the precept laddies of course making their big appearance again one day we will do a precept latty video here at Newport and it will be a blast and we found a total of 26 different brands there all encompassing everything all together which is pretty neat and if we hop over to the model chart we can see the winner today by a very fine margin it was close the prov1 still Takes the Cake out on top just past the Callaway super soft which is obviously our ball number two we found number three the precept lad extreme only at Newport will you find this sort of imbalance in the data we’ve got the range balls there it is I list them all as whatever their um make is and then the model I just put as range so there was Bridgestone there was tailor made there was Srixon there was a whole bunch of different brand of the range balls but I list them all as range so they go in there so we found 21 range balls out of our 392 golf balls that’s kind of what skewed the data and why we saw the patterns that we did out there today which is pretty cool I love seeing this stuff and after that we’ve got the prov1x another nice showing there from the prov1x the Titleist true feel up there as well pretty cool appearance from them the Chrome soft the normal chrom soft the tp5x what else we got tors soft Nitro ultimate distance why are there two different ultimate distances here what’s up with that riddle me that data what are you parsing to make these on there twice I have no idea okay well there should be 18 ultimate distances which puts it in the same as the prov1x the tp5 the Kirkland performance pluses and of course all of our ones twz ones down here and now let’s hop over to the colors and take a look and see what we got here and as you can see we found a pretty large portion 80% had no color however that is less than what we usually find we actually found more colored and pattern golf balls out there today we usually get 82% no color 18% yes color in patterns and today we found 79.8% no color which again goes to the story that we have been preaching here today we found a lot more yellow balls than we normally did I would say probably 80 85% of the range balls that we found were yellow so that means we had like an extra like 18 yellow balls in the mix which you can see right here and then of course we’ve got uh 15 different pattern balls that we found out there today three greens seven oranges seven pinks four Reds one peach and then what did I call this yellow hope ball I call it honeysuckle my bad honeysuckle is the color I went and put in there I actually have like this color wheel app thing that I found online that you can really kind of dial in the colors and see what the name should be based on like kind of standard naming conventions I guess I I don’t really know it’s someone’s opinion anyway but that’s what I use for some of the thumbnails and things like that so honeysuckle was the color of this hope ball I’ll actually show it to you guys that is what we’re calling honeysuckle kind of like a like a pale yellow sort of thing actually so that explains this guy in the data that’s what honeysuckle is I figured it’s worth putting in as a different color cuz I really feel it should go in as a different color and not just like a pearlescent or a yellow that we have plenty of in the data already I think it deserves its own color right and so does peach that’s a different color peach ball right so anyway and lastly we’ve got the pro1 year charts here and as you guys can see it’s the 20203 that’s what we’ve got coming out here we’ve got the 202s coming out next year though there’s actually a bunch of new golf balls for 2025 coming out premium urethanes anyway I might do some shorts on that next week or this week I guess if you’re seeing it coming up anyway so we’ll hopefully be finding lots of the new golf balls new premium urethanes out there we got the 2025 prob1 to look forward to as well and today we found seven of the 2021s some 2019s 2017s 2015s 2013 2011 2009 2007 2015 and nothing earlier than that we couldn’t go back super far but we got a nice bunch of them all in a row going back to 2005 we could have still hit the 2003 2001 and like the 1999 2000 version since this is I believe Titleist 25 year anniversary of the prov1 so technically it was released in 2000 but they were making the balls in 1999 anyway uh and of course we have the zeros in here which is what we call the refinished or refurbished balls just so we can see them in the chart
