We Made Our Own Mini Golf Putting Course!
Hey everybody. Today we’re at Centennial Lakes Park outside Minneapolis, Minnesota playing the 9-hole Scottish links putting course. Let us know if you’re team Alicia, team Brooks, you think it’s going to win. There’s going to be a lot of uh skill-based stuff to this and how trying to do golf things. Let’s see if we can do them. So, hole one. The hole is right on the other side of that mound. I can’t even pretend to try to do a Scottish accent. I’m amazed it sat there. Is it on the hill or is it on the back side of it? Uh, kind of on the back side. Okay. Hit the pin. There I go. Well, just a little too hard. Uh, okay. This is very different. But it’s cool. It’s just here at the public park. Oh, so close. Okay, three for me. And there’s no par from what I could see on like their scorecard or anything for any of them. So, y’all can just kind of make up what you think par would be. That was such a close shot. Rub it. Oh, you’re a little dingling. You might want to hit that before it blows down the hill the other way. Just in case. Dingling. Yeah. Okay. This one might go a little better. Just two humps. This is cool though. Like it’s just one giant flat open with all the different mounds and stuff to like practice different putts. Very different. It was only like seven bucks a person. It’s so hard to judge how hard to hit them. Okay, that’s not bad. Hey, if one of us does a golf thing and get a hole in one on this, that’d be awesome. I don’t know what’s going to happen, but you never know. Do I win something? Uh, we’ll cross that path when we get to it. I see you. I was gonna say if you got a hole in one after we just said that, that would have been amazing. Hey, great shot. Hey, you might go to Mall of America today. That’s if you get a hole in 100% go to Mall of America today cuz we’re still trying to figure out our filming schedule. And then you can peep things. Darwin and something. The repeated phrase the rest of this video guy too. We’ll cross that bridge when we get to it. Oh, wow. Look how the hole set up on this one. That’s going to be really close. Good shot. Oh, Brooks. I’ll go ahead. I I don’t even know what besides bad. I don’t know what I’ll describe that. That was terrible. You have a great shot up the hill, though. I had nothing. I have enough. Hey, at least it stayed. Yours went way better than mine so far. Break. That one was good. I’ll take that. That was me trying to do a golf thing after messing up on the first golf thing. So, I think we both got a three there. I don’t Was anyone else actually expecting us to tie that hole? Cuz I don’t think we were. Wow. Uh, that was three. That was three. So now for four. This is really cool. This is a neat putting course. Clear the hump. Go, go, go. Oh. Oh, that was so close. How close am I? So from down there, I can’t see the like the hole, but I can see the pin. I was just waiting to hope the ball disappeared. Dang. Here. So close. So close. Hey, that makes me feel great after the last hole, though. Still not bad at all. Did not think I’d be able to do a first person on a course like this, but here we are. That was a great two. No, that’s going to cut. All right. Hey, throughout this video, we’re going to find out who is the better putter. Maybe. Wait. Oh, that’s close. A little more to the right. I might have had it. Yeah. For this is to be in a like a big public park and it not I think it’s seven bucks to play this one. And then they have a full 18hole course that’s way more long putt. It’s kind of like Fantasia Fairways for 10 bucks. Really cool that this is here. Be close. Go in. Oh, great shot though. Thank you. Sweet. Look how short this one is. Just one little hump. all. Nope. That’s going to go left. Next. Following the leader. Oh, the next one’s going to be a long one. There’s a bait that land a little bug that landed on my ball. He’s going for a ride. Oh, that was close. I smell food. It smells amazing cuz we’re getting hungry for lunch. Look at the humps on this one. So, it’s the flag’s straight ahead to your left, not the one all the way down at the end. Just so we know we’re aiming for the right one. No, I think you’re a It’s Yeah, that one. I saw you aiming the other one. We could play that one if we want. It’s a long hole. You could see the wind taking that. Yeah, I Words are hard. I don’t know what came out of my mouth there. This is one of the It’s like strategic schwacking is kind of what it is. And actually guys, what we’re going to do, we were just talking about off camera. This is a nine-hole putting course, but it doesn’t take your ball at the end. If no one gets it the start, we’re going to loop it a second time. So you got that way you guys can have a full 18hole video and we’ll say this is like the practice round and then we’ll go into the back nine for like the Yeah, we might have figured this out. Oh, it’s close. That way we can have a longer video for you guys too. Will it nice and three hopefully if it’s both. Okay. We could the next time just like pick random flags. That could be interesting. Instead of playing the like the flag itself, just we go to every hole like the whole starter and then pick like whoever’s going first picks the flag we should go for. Yeah, that could get interesting for the back nine. Maybe we’ll do that. Maybe. So it’s different. Yeah, I think that’d be cool. So, it’s something different. So, like the last hole where you were aiming for that pin instead, we could go for it if we wanted to cuz you would be up. You just have to make sure nobody else is out. Oh, yeah. If there’s people on, we’ll like make sure we’re out of their way. But that could get interesting. So, we’re on this one. So, this is eight. So, now we’re going for that flag. I could see the wind pushing that. Yeah, it’s It started to break to the right and the wind took it the other way. I can guarantee you if we do that for the back nine, I’m going to be picking the farthest flag away for every hole just so we can see how well we do. Swacking it over humps that aren’t intended to guide the ball the way that they are. Woo! There’s the wind. I’m waiting on that to go away. Wow, that was a strong epic. Mhm. Are you finished? Nothing’s thinking about it. I expected that to like I thought I was going to go way more to the right. Whoa. I thought that was really close. Thought I was going to have it. That was still a great shot. Okay. And when we do the back nine, we’ll pretend like we’re It’ll obvious be whole 10 through 18, but you’ll start it as if it’s like hole one. So you can pick the first flag. Okay. Dang. Well, I’ve got a three. And you can go for the actual one if you want to. You can just Whoever’s going first just gets to pick where we go. Yeah, that might roll back. I like it. Great spot. That wasn’t hard enough. I’ll go ahead. Okay. Him be like, “Hole one, we’re going for the five flag.” Yeah, I’ll go ahead. I’m looking forward to this. This is going to be fun doing the back part. And thankfully, everyone’s playing the 18hole course. So, you got our own 18hole course. Listen, stay on that side. That side. Hey, you still got the two. So now Alicia, technically it’ll be hole 10 for us, but since we’re going to be doing hole one through nine on the markers, you get to pick the first flag. Okay. Like I said, you can pick any flag, but then we will in every hole start at the correct hole marker. Whatever you’re vibing, I guess hole two. Just make it a long call for hole two. Okay, I like it. That’s a serious swack. Need more. It’s hard to adjust to know how hard you got to do those. I’m aiming just in front of you. So, watch out for the flag. So, watch your feet just in case. Okay. Not too bad. Uh-huh. See what you got. [Music] That was smart. I was trying to use my brain. Okay. Still good. Hey, you know what? We’re picking the holes out. We’ll say that was a par four and you got a birdie cuz we’re making the holes ourselves. Well, we both got a birdie. Yeah. Hey, does this mean technically we made our own putting course? I mean, it is what we’re doing. technically. So now we got to go back to hole marker two. I already know which flag I’m going for. So we got to go back over here. This is the reason why we’re playing them in order because otherwise we would completely lose track of which ones we played. So starting here, hole six. Hole six. You know, I was going to do the farthest one away. Okay. You know, I had to I had to cuz you have to kind of think like where can you aim with uh the markers? I don’t know how much this is going to take. Lord have mercy. Go back to the right on that hump. That was actually pretty good. I cannot believe that ended up like that. There’s a bee trying to land on my toe. Listen, go away. She’s not a flower. She just smells like one. Well, you’re going to still make it past that one. I’m going five. What’s going to happen if by some weird like one ina million chance you get a hole in one on the wrong hole? Like you just count like one plus a penalty if you take it out. Not that I think you have to I guess you get a stop point and then maybe you have to keep it out or like take it out and then keep going. But it doesn’t count as a drop. We’ll say that. It’s like hitting a rock, you know? That would be incredible. That was a good shot though. Nice. You know what? And I said I was I claimed that was a par4. You got another birdie. Dang. Both got a birdie. Yeah. All right. Now for hole three. Alicia, pick your target. Guess that one straight ahead. The one in the very back or the one like to the right of the uh the hole marker. So the one you see the eight markers. The one to the right of that. Yeah. Not the one in the very back. Got it. Okay. That’s kind of what I was thinking too, actually. Yeah. That that ain’t going straight. It should kick back left a little bit. Okay, that’s nowhere near hard enough. It went farther than I expected it to, though. That’s a great layup shot, though. You can go tap it in if you’d like. Okay. 33. Is that the exact same spot as you? Uh, I’m not sure. If not, it was close. You could see where I guess they could adjust the holes here too if they wanted to change the layout. Yeah, notic. We were just thinking ahead of what they do. So, three first boat. The funny thing is we keep hitting them so far and then we got to walk all the way back to the other side because you know it’s such a far like 50 feet here. So now I’ll be up for number four. Oh, I know. I already know which one I want to go for if we can aim for it. So this is hole four right here. I want to go for I want to go for hole number one on the mound over there. Okay. I think I want to go for that one. Yeah. between the double mound and then it being on a hill. Wait, hold up. Do it. Oh my. Oh my gosh. Wow. Would you like me to go ahead and hit that end? Am I in Do you think I’m going to be in your way? Uh, totally up to you. I’ll go down there. It’ll be fine. You sure? Yeah. Okay. If you hit me, I’m so sorry. I’m so I think you would have gone past the hole though unless you hit the pin. I did not think. It’s all right. Okay. I really didn’t care. Good shot though. That thing has some power behind it. That’s a tough shot. You can go if you like. Straight uphill at least. Dang it. Stop. Oh my god. Apparently, this holds harder than we thought. I’ll just play it safe. Oh my god. I think this is six. Get in the hole, you little Oh my goodness. I quit. Why? Why’d you hit it that hole? Cuz I was giving up. I think I technically the stroke limit is six. So I guess you just you’ll take a six. I’m done with that. Okay, go pick your hole out. We’ll get the balls. Um I think five. Yeah, five’s right here. Here. Well, we’ll make up for it now. Three. Okay, I need a break. I’m good for four. You good? Okay, not bad. I think that needed more. That definitely needed more. Down we go. Sit. I did not think that was going to work. Three. We don’t want to have a uh There we go. The repeat of the last hole on a hill. I hope you guys are enjoying this. This is something fun and different for us. So, hope you are liking it. Thanks for watching. So, now hole six, which is this little guy right here. The thing is because technically you do have to basically aim the way that they’re doing. I don’t know where to go. I don’t want to go for hole six because that’s just boring. Um, you know what? Technically, you can still hit this way and go for hole two’s flag right there. So, we’re going to do that. We didn’t say what direction we had to go. Oh, that’s so far right. I don’t know what I was aiming for, but that’s the hole, apparently. I thought you were going to go in the other one for a second. All right. Not bad, though. Um, if you would have somehow hit the flag and got in right there. [Music] Oh, that was close. [Music] Oh. Oh, really? Three for us both. And now back to hole seven for you to pick it. You have a lot of options down here. That one that is seven. Oh, you could go. Oh, the one we thought it was originally. Yeah, I like it. You were squaring up for this one last time around. So, I hope that stays in. You’re in. I’m aiming just in front of you. That’s not hard enough, Brooks. That was the exact line I was thinking. Just like three more oomphs harder. [Music] No way. That was pretty good. That was so close. Still a great shot. Nice. Both get a three. Let’s see. I think I’m going to go for two again down there. So, we have to play it kind of backwards, but I think we’ll go for hole two down there. I scraped the ground. I did the exact same thing. Yeah, I did too. Am I in your way? No. Hit the pin. I like that. Great shot. Hey, you know what? For everything to be par fours, we’ve done pretty good. Everything’s par4. Yeah. Almost the exact same thing. All right. Said the last one. You get to pick it. Last hole. Pick it out. What are you thinking? Hole one. I like it. We made again. True. Actually, I forgot about that. See if it’s better to uh revisit. Yeah. Yeah. For some reason, my brain cannot. It just can’t grasp hitting it hard enough. Nope. Too hard. I’m good at hitting it too hard the second time. Just never the first time. I really should just breathe. Oh no, dude. Transferred to you apparently. Five. That was a good time. Yeah, it scores. Yes. Uh they are correct. We forgot what Alicia got on one hole. So we put down a two, but she might have got a three. But if they’re correct, you had 55 or possibly 56. It might be neither of those. I don’t really know. And I 51. Okay. So, good job, guys. Hope you enjoyed this video. Again, something different. We appreciate youall watching. Have a great day. And for more mini golf fun, probably some regular courses I’m sure you’ll love. Check out these two videos on screen. See you in the next one. Bye. Bye.

I can do a pretty good Scottish accent. Also, you know golf was invented in Scotland.
I see your speaking English has not improved playing Gall these past years
Very clever idea.
2:43 This was a fun video, even though Hole 1 was Elisha's achilles heel! So, did you guys play the 18hole course, back during ur 2018 Road Trip? Because that title Centennial Park sounds familiar? I'll go check ur BHV Playlist, anywho, really liked what you did for the BACK 9!
I like it. Really cool course.
Count the number of times that Brooks says "technically. "
Except for the mean and nasty hole 1, you guys were incredibly consistent on this course. I like what you did for the 2nd 9 holes.
Elisha almost felled on the 8th tee. 🙂
Nice day for a change of pace! Stay cool!
Team Elisha ❤
That comment about making up the pars reminds me of the famous Willie Nelson quote:
Some writer was interviewing Willie at his farm, and Willie was proudly pointing out the golf course he'd made on his property. "The best thing about having your own course is, you can make your own rules. Like, this hole right over here is a Par 27, and yesterday I BIRDIED that sucker!"
Wow!
Fun little course you found there. I think it’s ironic that Elisha had trouble on 13 her and 13 are not getting along lately
Love you
Mix it up .fun fun fun.⛳️⛳️⛳️some elishas shotsgood others😮.well done brooks. 🇦🇺🦘👍👌☕️😃😃😃

Now try the "pitch and putt" in Kennebunkport, ME. You will not regret it, but you better hurry it's already the end of July. They're only open through September because we'll, you know, BRRRR🥶!
The shot where Elisha hit Brooks' ball gave me an idea. First shot is normal but after that you have to hit the other person's ball in with yours… you don't keep track of shots you keep track of who wins each hole… a hole in one wins the hole automatically and if the first person gets a hole in one the second person can try and get one too to tie that hole
Come to Scotland and play the St Andrews pitch and putt, it's great fun
WE MADE OUR OWN MINI GOLF PUTTING COURSE BROOKS HOLT
More like real golf….some good tswacking by you guys…impressive…maybe one day you guys can make the transition to real golf..eH?
wow not nice to say that about your gf :O front hole 7. sry bad joke. danes jost have bad sense of humor 🙂
As always team Elisha 🙂
And wow looks nice. and you two do way better than expected of a medium golf lane 🙂
Both of you have a very bad habit of stepping on top of the ball to move it around on the teeing area and also stepping down on the putter head to hold the putter up while you are holding the camera. This cause's DIVOTS. A divot will take 4 weeks to heal if you repair it and 4 months to heal if you don't repair it. Please respect a natural grass putting course and don't cause any damage. I made this same comment a few years ago and your reply was " It's only a game, we're not pros ". Take the time to watch a few video's on putting and how to repair divot's so you can take care of the putting green's.
You didn't make that course. It was just a standard pitch and putt area on a regular golf course.
So your title says "we made our own mini golf putting course" but at the start there was no reference that you made the course, just that you found it so that's a lie?…… But the second time going through it I kinda see what you meant haha 🤔
pretty much a giant practice putting green one would find at an actual golf coarse. Cool.
3:31 you can describe it as what dad says “You Have Got To Be Kidding Me”
Warum spielt ihr nochmal von vorne los anstatt bei der 10 weiter zu machen
Way to make up your own game kids! Nice and thanks for sharing.
Hole 1 did Elisha dirty the first two times you played it
Great video guys!! To all the watchers who do no subscribe, hit that subscribe button and let's get Brookes and Elisha over that 400K subscribers. We all can do it!!!! Take care guys!!
