[Music] marriage is all about patience support understanding communication teamwork and i think your relationship exemplifies all those [Music] [Music] so [Music] [Music] being able to call megan my sister is a privilege that i will never take for granted calling her my friend is a gift that i will always cherish those of you who know megan well know she radiates with compassion love and loyalty for her friends and family i think we knew how hard it was going to be for her to find someone as special as she is someone who can stand in her light and not be scared of how bright it shines someone who deserves all the love she has to give not only matches that love but returns in the capacity she deserves and then we met brendan [Music] brendan as we’ve learned shares megan’s passion for travel but most importantly he shares her values when it comes to family friends and love without ask without hesitation time and time again brendan has shown up for megan and our entire family you have made me the happiest i have ever seen i have never felt so secure opening up to someone as you have made me feel time to make our love eternal and to open up the next chapter i can’t wait to start a family with you because i know you will be the best mom it all starts today i’ll see you at the altar [Music] so [Music] [Music] middle name happens to be murphy so that’s why he brought the irish whiskey here’s to everybody here you’re compassionate and caring and a helper by profession and our family has experienced that compassion firsthand when you were there when we needed you most [Music] hey [Music] megan’s siblings have always accused megan of being the favorite i don’t know why i think she just learned how to manipulate us the better than the others so i have this you know image in my head of megan when she was very young a picture that her siblings know well where she is sort of posing with her hand on her face or head on her hand it’s sort of as if she’s imagining this day i think that day finally came [Music] someone asked if there was a lot of traffic on the bridge i said yes and that was only this wedding party [Music] [Music] [Music] the great description from saint paul about love being patient and kind and forgiving and always ready to give and forgive is a great reminder of what married life is all about megan and brendan you came to know one another five years ago and today in the company of family and friends you become husband and wife with your two great families especially your parents you have good examples of what married life is all about in a few moments you’re going to pledge to be there for one another in good times and in bad in sickness and in health in the joys and in the realities of married life and because this marriage is a sacrament you are receiving today a promise from god that he too will be with you and for you in good times and in bad in sickness and health in the joys and in the realities of married life and so today as you say yes to one another you also say yes to god’s greatest commandment to love each other and to love all who come into your view brendan and megan have you come here to enter into marriage without coercion freely and wholeheartedly are you prepared to follow the path of marriage to love and honor each other for as long as you both shall live we have me we do i am i am you got it are you prepared to accept children lovingly from god and to bring them up according to the law of christ and his church we will i brendan take you megan to be my wife i brendan take you megan to are very thankful that you’ve been able to influence them to this day this moment in your life you being an anchor for her she being an anchor for you you’ve been supportive of each other tomorrow the sun will rise and who knows what the tide may bring we don’t know what’s going to happen tomorrow but i’m thankful that you and her are there for each other [Music] [Music] [Music] do seize this moment through marriage with megan by your side to achieve that goal of cleaning out your childhood we can be proud of you you’re thoughtful and giving very driven and you’re a great brother a loyal son a fun loving uncle and a good friend you’re going to be an excellent husband and you’ve chosen an incredible part well this said everybody let’s raise our glasses one last time to megan and
