An international spotlight will shine on Tralee, bringing a significant economic boost, when it hosts the 2026 Arnold Palmer Cup.
That’s according to Fianna Fáil councillor Mikey Sheehy.
He was reacting to the news that Tralee Golf Club will host the 2026 Arnold Palmer Cup, which is one of the most prestigious events in collegiate golf.
The Ryder Cup-style competition will take place from July 3rd to 5th, bringing together the top US and international men’s and women’s college players.
Current world number one Scottie Scheffler previously competed in the competition.
Cllr Mikey Sheehy says it’s a huge vote of confidence in Tralee Golf Club and the area.
