Um, I think it’s pretty long. I think as Sophie said, when you get onto this fifth hole, you get through the first few four holes in level par. You can then, you know, five, it’s not reachable par five, but you got wedge in your hand. Nine, you’ve got wedge in your hand. So, there’s a lot of then scorable clubs that have you’ve got going through that kind of back end. You watched a bit of Netty Corder as well. Yeah, she was very impressive. This is a second to the par five. Trying to blast a freewood there. I mean, I thought this hole was out of reach, but not for Nelly Corder today. We watch Liver lyrical about how good Nelly Corder is. I think she’s the best 3-wood player on tour. Should go back to three over. Nelly Corder. This is an eagle attempt at number five. Was a great effort. Tough to get the speed especially you know shoot it’s a long green this what about the speed of the greens we normally think links golf the greens are a bit slower than they would be in the US going to keep this one inside the hole nice birdie made that look easy now he gets to two under right of this pin 139 yds. And the wind, if anything, any wind out there that is slightly helping today. Don’t want to be short and don’t want to be left. Yeah, good swing. Perfect position. The leader is currently at four under. It’s so easy to leave that perch short. Split those bunkers. Leaked it down the right. No issue there. Maybe slightly healy. That’s why the hand came off the club there. A good six yards onto the green. 130 stick. Tweak this down the left. Get up. There we go. You can see from the reaction of the follow through. She didn’t quite strike that. and use the lob wedge around the green. Looks like that’s what she’s trying to stumb one into the slope here. Yeah, nice for Dan. That’s why she’s here, isn’t it? Nelly caugh this for a pass save. Oh, y that looked like a straight pull, didn’t it? She going to be disappointed to drop one on seven. It’s It’s a birdie hole today, isn’t it? You got wedge in your hand. She was middle of the fairway. So, back to one under for quarter. And I know a few of you scratching your head. 18 tournaments, 19 winners. So, this is to get the flight lower and it’s an anti-less shot as well. Watching her out there in the practice round yesterday, she just hit such a beautiful ball flight into the wind. Manages to bring it down. Ellie’s going to be wanting to go at that TV tower. Leave the pin alone. Great shot in there. There won’t be many closer. Nicely done. A good bounce back and one of the toughest holes out there on the course today so far. Nelly Cer spin one back. Some good chances coming up. left hand below right her putting stroke and another one goes in backto- back birdies. Yeah, good response to the missed short one at seven. Nearly beat the ball to the hole, didn’t she? Cer opt in for threewood. Dog leg from right to left. Wind from right to left also. Well, from there we know what potentially is coming next. Just play the number here. Fly it all the way. That’s Paul. Hand off the club. Dropping it on the inside. Turning that face over. We’ve seen that a little bit how she’s kind of looks like she’s just fighting a little bit of of a left. She needs to be backed as well. And and these first few years, they really do make or break you. It’s not necessarily about how good you are at golf. It’s getting all the strategies, the finances, the caddies, the hotels all in place. Nearly there. Yeah. And even things like advice on visas and that kind of thing. Yeah, absolutely. It’s going to allow them to put that package support around them and it’s just part of the wider strategy for Scottish golf. Yeah. Well, she’s living up to that right now. Although struggling to keep up with Lotty W for Corder. So, you’re saying that Lotty shot was a bit of a a mishit at the Evian Golf Resort couple of weeks ago? Augusta National made the statement. Sure. Yeah. Everything else has just kept rolling for her. Good speed. It just doesn’t want to turn. and and for this tournament itself I mean it’s hard to see it getting bigger if you like given you know the world number ones here given the quality of plays but what are your aspirations yeah as a as a amateur she got that yeah world number 62 at the moment. Thank you, Amy. But that was as like this is as an amateur. So she was world number one as an amateur, but she got into the Now this green always plays the quickest on the golf course. The 12th slider for Corder. I think it’s because it’s raised. It’s it’s one of the closest greens to the the coast. close there for corder just apart. We’ve got grassy golf course on the left hand side. We’ve got 10:00. Well, the punches on the train are getting a a nice little sneak of the world number one. Piping one down 13. Now he’s got a softer club 12. There’s still one there, but it’s not quite as vigorous. stay. No, that one’s going to go and feed down into the semi- rough. That shot highlighted the winds now there, isn’t it? This one’s going to be left to right when it goes on the green. She’s going to want to bump this into the slope. Yeah, that was very well played. She played a good one on seven, didn’t she? She played a very good one on 13. It’s shortsided as well. Very tidily done. There’s a bunker down the right side. players need to try and avoid must carry the pot bunker. That’s 220 yds carry 3wood. Fantastic shot, wasn’t it? Lucky. It was unlucky. It’s just caught that little slope, isn’t it? It’s going to roll down. It’s going to end up there. Here we go. Nearly caught it. Wow. How is that not gone in? She just knows, doesn’t she? Good shot. Not quite got it on the right level, but this is for Birdie up the hill. Right to left. Oh, she had a couple of those. Couple of those today. They look good, don’t they? All of her putts, they’re aggressive. They’re missing on the high side. Wind’s down off the right today. There’s a big slope in this fairway that kicks the ball down to that left side. But Nelli Corder in the left side of the B. Sorry. In the left rough on 16 playing up this green 27 yds on seven from the right. This pin trying to chase it up the slope that needs to hang on. Do you think the corders did that? Chips and chips and a coke. That’s why she’s world number one. Difficult put this tough to get the speed up and over the slope. Some work left to do. Never came back on her. So she boged the first hole. She threw in a handful of birdies. It’s been three bogeies now for Corder. She’s back to three under partelli. Hood is going with driver on 17 going over the left side. Taking over the corner. Jason liked it. 232 carries it. That’s a long way down there now. Nelly Cer hit a huge drive down 17 60 yards. Felt like that was a little bit too close to the green there. So yeah, downwind front pin to Nelly. Good pace from Nelly. Nelly corder now laying up. Wind off the left here. Center of the fairway. Can go straight at this pin. She does. Well, you put these three together. Switch to left hand low in the past year or so. Change to the mallet. It’s working dirty on the last for quarter. What an excellent finish to a very nice day. So one under par for Charlie Hall, four under par for Nelly Corder.

  1. Love the highlights of Nelly. Just wish they would show the leader board on occasion. She finished -4 and still have no clue which position she is in.

  2. Great to see the putting and short game are firing. Looking great in the first round. 🏌️🏌️🏌️🏌️🏌️⛳⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐💯👏👏👏👏👏👏🦁
