Martin, currently 173rd in the FedEx Cup standings, is running out of time to qualify for the playoffs. With only two regular season events remaining, he needs a major push, possibly a win or back-to-back top finishes to earn the 500 points needed to make the cut. The 3M Open, now in its seventh edition, comes right after the Open Championship and features a relatively thin field. Headliners include defending champion Jonathan Vegas, Lee Hodges, and Tony Fenau, who has four top 12 finishes at this venue and an average score of 67.71 across 24 rounds at TPC Twin Cities.
