ladder drill
Okay, we’re going to do a ladder drill. And just to kind of give you an idea, I’m doing this at home where I have uh my setting set to 6,465 ft of elevation. Right now, the relative humidity is at 15% and it’s 92 degrees temperature. So, those of you who are not familiar with a ladder drill, I’m going to hit uh I’m going to go 40, five shots to 40 yards, five shots to 50 yards, five shots to 60 yards, five shots to 70 yards, and so on till I hit 90 yards, and then we’re going to look at the dispersion data. This is all to improve my carry yardages. So, that’s what I’m really focusing on is the carry yardages. And I might hit a variety of shots, but for this time, I’m gonna try to just hit stock of what I’m doing. Here we go. There we go. Nailed it. 39.9. Took three shots to get there. Two more. Two more shots. 38.2. That’s pretty good. And to kind of give you an idea how I’m doing this, I’m just seeing I I kind of have to get to about 8:00 on the clock. 37.3. Beautiful. Now, I’m going to go to 50 yards. All right. 50 yards. Same thing. I just make my stance just a hair wider. And I’m going to go to 830. 54. That’s a little bit too far. That’s pretty close. 47.2. Yeah, that’s no good. And obviously what I’m hoping to accomplish is that when I hit these, I’m going to get to a point where I uh have a dispersion of less than a yard or two yards cuz anything within six feet I would consider a gimme. Okay, that’s still a little too short. One more shot. Let’s see if I can hit it. 50 yards. Nope. All right, I’m going to move on to 60 yards. Hopefully that’s a little bit better. Again, I’m looking at carry yardages, not total distance. That’s too much. Now I’m kind of in that 9:00 range.
