CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A cement mixer truck crashed into a tree on Wednesday night, according to the Clarksville Police Department.
CPD said officers responded to Dunbar Cave Road near Idlewood Drive for reports of a commercial vehicle crash.
On scene, officers found the cement mixer truck had left the roadway, entered a ditch, and hit a large tree. The crash caused the tree to fall onto the vehicle and the road.
Police said it happened near the Swan Lake Golf Course.

The crash caused Dunbar Cave Road to close between Dunbar Cave State Park and Kimberly Drive as officers work to remove the tree from the truck and roadway.
The roadway reopened just after 1 a.m. Thursday.
Police said there was no cement in the truck when it crashed.
No injuries were reported, CPD said.
