England Golf’s iGolf programme has launched It’s Your Game, a new marketing campaign celebrating independent female golfers and encouraging more women to take control of their golfing journey.

The campaign from iGolf, the only provider of a Handicap Index for non-club members in England, calls for female subscribers to share their experiences of how iGolf has empowered them on their journey.

It’s Your Game is set to source real-life stories from independent female golfers across the country, bringing to life the experiences of women using the iGolf platform to enjoy golf and access a Handicap Index.

Designed to inspire and shift perceptions, the It’s Your Game campaign will aim to highlight how golf can fit into any lifestyle, offering flexibility, freedom, and a fresh sense of purpose through tracking progression in their game.

Female iGolfers across the country can get involved by sharing their iGolf stories on social media using #ItsYourGame, and exploring how the platform can support their journey by visiting the dedicated It’s Your Game webpage here.

One of the hero stories launching the campaign is Carly Telford, a former Lioness who has found a new love for the game having become a subscriber. Through iGolf, she’s sharpened her competitive edge and found a new passion that supports both her physical and mental wellbeing.

“When I retired, I was looking for something that gave me a focus – something for me,” says Telford. “Golf has been that outlet. iGolf helped me track my progress, build confidence, and enjoy the game at my own pace. I love the freedom it gives me to play when and where it suits me, with no pressure, just pure enjoyment. For many people, it’s a great way to get into golf on their own terms, and it can even be the perfect stepping stone into club membership if that works for them further down the line.”

“There’s no one way to play golf anymore,” said Claire Hodgson, Head of iGolf/iPlay. “With iGolf, we’re offering women a flexible way to play – one that fits around their life, helps them track progress, and feel part of the game. This campaign is all about celebrating the freedom to play your way and show how golf can work for all.”

This campaign reflects England Golf’s commitment to creating a welcoming, accessible, and inspiring environment for more women and girls to enjoy golf.  With over 1,800 affiliated golf clubs and facilities, England Golf aims to support and empower a thriving community of golfers to get the most out of the game.
