yeah send all of them back, they probably all need to be re-done.
they do look nice though

Someone skimped on the epoxy
3aces4now
There was ZERO epoxy on that shaft or in the hosel!!!
3aces4now
The epoxy would have filled the hole of the brass weight

Did you buy from Titleist or another retailer?

UPDATE: 7i just flew off! Leaving the range. Calling warranty. Don’t know what to say.
Received irons today. Super excited. 2 hours after being delivered. Go to range. Unwrap plastic. Get a few practice swings. First ball hit, PW head flies. Talk to staff at the range to see if they can get it. Call warranty. They send a new one. Sitting down and looking at the rest of the clubs (anxious). Unwrap 7i. Hit a couple hooked shots. Then 10th-15th ball in 7i head flies off. Grab my stuff. Talk to staff at the range. Call warranty again.
jacobeam13
But how far did the ball go….?
quantim0
My mixed set of 150/250 came in today, but steel shaft.
I’ll hit them into my net for a bit just in case so they don’t end up down range.

This happened to me before when i bought a brand new tsr3 hybrid from their website and customer experience has been very subpar
Hiney111
Those were clearly assembled on a Friday afternoon…

Keep us updated, this is a pretty big fck up especially if you bought directly from titleist!
I’m a big titleist fan so keen to see how they respond to this.
Tough-Wing2995
Good thing you didn’t wait till after the warranty date to try them out 😂
Trollking0015
Beautiful set of irons, maybe your sandwedge needs to be replaced as well

Looks like they didn’t prep the shaft for gluing at all. Titleist are generally pretty reliable so very odd.

Impressive
Double_Question_5117
A little flex seal and it will be fine
Samman258
lol the guy that fit me at true spec did say whenever you buy a build from the OEM’s you gotta check it when you receive it to make sure the specs match your request… figured the least they could get right is gluing the heads to the shafts but the bar must have been lowered since then

Jesus, I’ve hit new and old clubs for 30 years and never had an iron head fly off, driver head once lol
brutalpancake
This is really wild. Been gaming Titleist stuff for 20 years and never had a QC issue. Really sucks as an intro to the brand but I’m sure they’ll make it right.
AFG73
What are they doing to make it right? Especially with how much titleist price gouges their customers this is unacceptable..
chinster91
Improper surface prep prior to applying adhesive.

Ten bucks says all their club builders have been deported
yellow_golf_ball
Were these built by Titleist or by another company? I ask because I didn’t think Titleist would use brass tip weights.
brennandd0
Same thing happened to me. Brand new Mizuno wedges. Went to the range, hit maybe 10 balls or so and the head flies off. Mizuno customer support said that I’d have to pay for shipping and handling. I ended up taking it to a pga superstore and the guys there fixed it for me at no cost
buttmcshitpiss
I have felt that level of disappointment a few times in life. Thank God you have a warranty at least. That’s just the epitome of unacceptable.
cbro49
Well don’t just stand there. Go get some glue!!
silenceispurity
Makes me glad I got ping irons. With all the chunkies I hit my heads are still safely attached

Screenshot your Reddit post (especially the vote and comment numbers) and include it with your submission. I bet it gets handled real quick.

Looks like they test fit the heads and then shipped them without ever glueing them on. Hopefully they give you something good for the trouble and the absolutely shotty work.
championstuffz
The shaft wasn’t properly scuffed prior to install. That’s not a good look for them.
yurmamma
No epoxy at all, you could probably pull them apart with your hands
themoodyman
Shoulda seen how many heads you coulda fired off down the range first. Imagine losing all your club heads on the first range sesh lol
ktmrider119z
Looks to me like they just forgot to prep the shaft tip before epoxying the heads. Real easy way to get this result
bertbert46
lol so many angry nerds in this thread.
Mistakes happen, they manufacture thousands a year, something like this is bound to happen. If it happens multiple times…. that’s a sign of a bigger problem like TM drivers.
I hope Titleist makes it right for you.
emack2232
Not bad. With a little more practice you can stretch that to 75 yards.
