Five Clare players will be teeing it up today as the South of Ireland championship gets underway at Lahinch Golf Club
Lahinch is represented by Danny Lynne, Aaron McNulty, Jonathan Keane and Stephen Loftus, and they will be joined by Eoin Magill of East Clare Golf Club.
150 of Ireland’s leading amateur golfers will play in the 36-hole strokeplay qualifier over today and Thursday,
The top 64 will qualify for the matchplay stage of the competition at the weekend.
