Baxter Springs Golf Couse is a 9-hole, 36par community course located in southeastern Kansas, near the Oklahoma and Missouri borders. It is near Joplin Missouri and Miami Oklahoma. The course has an efficient layout with most holes being a straight drive, with only a few having doglegs. The greens are in great shape and the best part of the course. The clubhouse has a grill area, along with an outdoor pool and driving range. The hospitality is fantastic. I highly recommend a visit to Baxter Springs Golf Course.

hi it’s Golf Traveler with Den Knight today I’m in Baxter Springs Kansas it’s right in the very corner of the southeast section uh Oklahoma and Missouri are nearby um but it’s a nice little nine hole i played it in the fall this is hole one and it runs straight down through to the bottom down there um pretty much straight ahead on hole one like I said it’s a nine hole we’re going to play it twice i’ll take video of each hole uh and so you can kind of see what these little nine-hole municipals offer in this part of the state uh again southeast corner Baxter Springs Kansas there’s the green of hole one as you come down that base of that hill and the greens are really pretty nice for a little municipal they they puted really well um hole two is pretty much straight ahead too so we’re just going to have to you know get off the box pretty well get down there uh it’s a little soft i had to eat a wedge that’s why I think I I bogeied that first hole but u just going to have to try to play with soft conditions here’s the fairway of two and look at that i just hit into that okay so I think what I’m gonna do today is get a good visual of Baker Springs for my YouTube channel uh so that you can see all nine holes these greens are a lot of fun they really putt well and you know the first two holes are laid out nicely so I think it’s a nice little municipal to play it’s just today is just too wet i don’t have any business being out here but like I said I had to be in the area so I thought well when I’m over here I like to play courses in this part of the state so um so I’m going to go ahead and video it but I know that keeping a score is just not going to be practical because there’s just way too much water so it’ll be a good day to work on my chipping and and putting especially in damp and wet areas there’s the green of hole two and in hole three you just kind of swing around here and the tea box is to my left and it looks or appears that we have to meander our way up with a slight dog lake to the left climbs up that hill and then the the uh hole is up there on to the left up on top of that hill so this might be a fun little hole so again hole three of this par nine again I want to ask you to subscribe to my YouTube channel i’m trying very hard to get people to look at videos on there of uh courses in this area so if we can bring attention to that so that people will know that maybe there’s some videos out there of courses in this part of Missouri Kansas Oklahoma um again it is golfer with Denise Knight that’s all one word and Denise is Dis and Knight of course is Ki GHT so Golf Traveler with Denine Knight check out my page please and subscribe there’s the tea box of of three in the distance you can see and then here is the green up here the dog leg that we couldn’t see so um you know it it kind of needs mow it’s been raining a lot fairways are not well defined uh so far the cart paths are hanging in there so um but we’re going to be uh now hole four is going to go right back up towards the um clubhouse area parking lot area up there you can see and the hole is right up there by that tree if you can quite make it out let me see if I can zoom in a little so it’s just roughly so we’re just going to have to again hit straight ahead that last one had we had to use a seven to hit the elbow but this one we looks like we could attack it straight ahead there’s the T- box for four i thought it came straight up this hill but it doesn’t it kind of dogs you swing around here kind of dogs up this left side of the hill here and you can see the flag up there at the top so we dog to the left on this what I was seeing from down there is T- box to five which it’s right over up there okay that’s what I was thinking was so it’s dogs to four dogs to the left that’s Oh five looks like a real mess uh it’s a par four and the big trees right in front of the green and look just how oh it’s just sping down that corner so we’re gonna have to try to go left to that tree and then climb up over it so and it’s soupy it looks like down below that so you know it may be a little tricky but we’re here we’re going to give it heck here I am at the bend of five um I was lucky enough to get out in that drier area and then push another one up the green’s just right here to my right um I’m a little left up in here somewhere i haven’t found it went up to look for it yet but uh and I’m hitting three so on this hole I’m going to be pretty happy if I can get up there now hole six is a par five and I’m assuming it runs up this hill along by that cart path and I’m going to guess it goes just left but it may go right once we get up there i have no idea but this is the only five and there’s one three and the rest are fours so it’s at par 36 for nine holes here I am at the on the green of of hole six it’s the par five and you can kind of tell why because you really have to climb up this hill quite a bit i mean the tea boxes are way down there uh just on the other side of that water down there so um but you’re right here close to the swing around here uh six actually comes right back up next to the clubhouse here um and they’ve got a pool and a restaurant and all kinds of neat stuff okay and then seven actually starts just back over here in that direction so let’s head to seven and take a look at it now hole seven is a par four and again it’s pretty open i mean you it’s right straight ahead a lot of these holes are fairly open and straight ahead and it’s hard to get a good gauge today cuz everything’s so wet but you know really the fairways aren’t bad the tea boxes are good the greens are good and you know these card paths are defined so you know I don’t want to give this course a bad uh grade because it’s so wet uh it really has a nice layout i really think you could walk it so this is hole seven and here’s hole eight and this the only par three here and you can see the flag there it’s about 140 from seniors no about 135 sorry from seniors this is hole eight at Baxter Springs Kansas the last hole hole nine runs right back up there you can see the flag I think right up there by the um right up there by the uh parking area so this is the ninth so it’s pretty much straight ahead so you know this is a nice course uh it’s got all par 4s it’s got one par three and one par five uh it’s a nice little nine-hole municipal uh it’s real close to Joplain um you know it’s a little wet today but it looks like a really fun course to play it’s very inexpensive so uh Baxter Springs Kansas uh little 9hole municipal
