Went into a Scheels to try out new putters. I randomly tried this one and sank 3 putts in a row. Putter felt amazing and had no idea it was Scottie’s putter until I looked up more info on the putter.

i never understood when he first changed from a blade to another blade why he didnt go the mallet after the blade. just made sense to me to try a different style putter when i changed.
blades have been disappearing for a while now.

I had a mallet for years, went to blade and IDK what all the hype is about…hit what works for you.
The putter change has made such a difference for him. He had a lot of pretty lengthy putts at Portrush that were drained without issue. When his putter is rolling like that he’s basically unstoppable. Just does not miss hit shots whatsoever
In his press conference after the Open he said he switched to a new mallet because he was having trouble hitting the center of the face consistently with his old putter. He mentioned having a miss on the heel side frequently with the old one. The new putter made it easier for him to line up and hit the middle of the face.
