Matthew Jordan speaks to the media following his second round at The Open Championship.

How do you reflect on the round? Obviously a few drop shots at the end probably left a bit of a sour taste. Yeah, it was um yeah, certainly certainly after 17 it was um a bit of bit of lack of concentration. You know, it just started to pour again and um just huddling under the umbrella and I didn’t really um as I say properly concentrate. So So that was certainly sour. Um but yeah, no I um just just too many mistakes. And I I and I guess the annoying thing was is that I made the mistakes, stayed patient, got it kind of got him back, started to get some momentum, and as soon as I did, I kind of hit a good drive that somehow ended up into the bunker on on 14 kind of thing. And it it was just it felt a bit like that really. So it was just Yeah, just one of those days. Was 14 one of the tougher holes today? Yeah, it was. I mean, when when we certainly played it, it was um yeah, it was it was into win. So um you’ve got to try and we we felt like we had to hit driver. Um, so it means you take on the one on the right and that pin as well is really tough. So, um, yeah, it’s it certainly certainly one of the harder holes out there. But you’re not out of it in terms of where you are on the leaderboard. A good a good score tomorrow. Yeah. Yeah. I just uh decompress, reflect a bit. Um, try and get dry kind of thing. And then once um once yeah, a couple of hours pass, you’ll start looking forward to tomorrow. Wish you the best for tomorrow. Thanks very much. Cheers. Cheers. Thank you.
