Can I Break a Public Course Record in One Try? (I Lost My Mind)

course record of 61. This place is no walk in the park, and I’ll have to have my absolute a game if I’m going to stand any chance against these course conditions and massive amounts of water. In my first six episodes, I’ve had three ties, two fails, and one course record. I mean, that’s not a bad completion rate. Yep. Today, we’re at Prairie Lakes Golf Course. Uh, this golf course reminds me of a place back in California called Riverside Golf Course um in Fresno. And you know, this is this is your run-of-the-mill public golf course that uh is shorter. 6,500 yds, right? Yeah. 6,500 yards. Par 71. 71. Par 71. What do you think is the the key out here today on a course like this? Just Well, it depends on how good the greens are. If the greens are solid, I can definitely do it. It’s cuz the golf course is short enough. So, the key the greens in my opinion 11 under is doable. 1100 is the the lowest I’ve ever gone. Okay. Seems like it just hit it over there to the right. It’s a 480 yard par five to start off. Got to start off hot. Here we go. Right over the car path. I think that’s good. Yeah, I think that’s fine. Nice 300 yard drive over that. We’ll see where it goes. And good way to start. Hitting it good. Oh, I didn’t practice putting. Might be an issue. Shoot. Well, Prairie likes golf course here in Grand Prairie, Texas. They were nice enough to give us the golf course for today. So, shout out to them. I appreciate it. Thank you for the hospitality. This is sick. 138. There’s not really much wind right now. I want to go just under a 10:30 45. Just over 10:00. Bounce and run it up there. Come on, baby. Oh, be good. Just be good. All right. Solid shot. Hopefully I make this to start off hot. Make an eagle. That’d be a great way to start this challenge, folks. I can’t even say anything yet. You had a good wedge shot to start. Well, these greens are going to be interesting to read today. Looks pretty straight to me. Going downhill. One to 6 ft. 2% 3 2 and 1 half%. Going just a little right if anything. Big moment here, folks. Start off two under through one. Huge for the program. Okay, four yards into the grain out of the rough here. This has a very good chance of coming out dead, so I’ve got to be a little careful. and over hit it. This could be something special.
