Grant Horvat and Collin Morikawa recently played together as part of Horvat’s ‘Break 50’ YouTube series.
The duo played an 18-hole round of Texas Scramble at TPC Las Vegas, aiming to score less than 50. Unfortunately, they just missed out with a 19-under-par 52.
Horvat and Morikawa discussed all things golf throughout the video, including each player’s favorite course.
They completely agreed that one course in Florida is a “hidden gem” because most people are unaware of its existence

Horvat named Pebble Beach as his favorite golf course in the world. “Pebble Beach. I’m a sucker for Pebble Beach. I love ocean golf,” he said.
Morikawa also likes the iconic venue and ocean golf generally, as he replied: “I love that. I’m with you.” The world number six is fortunate to play there in the Pebble Beach Pro-Am every February.
Horvat then picked a course that “not many people know about” as one of his favorites, the McArthur Golf Club.
“But we were talking about McArthur. Not many people know about this golf course. It’s a hidden gem,” he added.
“They probably don’t even want me talking about it. We won’t talk about it too much. There’s a course called McArthur that’s beyond exclusive.
“That’s one of my favorites. The little milk carton… I’m a big logo guy for a golf course if I’m going into the pro shop.”
Morikawa agreed: “Yeah, wow. Hidden gem. I like it.”
McArthur Golf Club is a 7,250-yard par-72 golf course built in 2002 that’s not available to the general public.
Collin Morikawa’s favorite golf course on the PGA Tour
Morikawa’s favorite golf course on the PGA Tour is Riviera Country Club, home to the Genesis Invitational.
“Tournament-wise, I’d say Riviera is up there. That’s one of the best ones. Everything about it makes it great,” he said.
Riviera did not host the tournament this year because of the Los Angeles wildfires, but it is expected to return in 2026.
Perhaps Tiger Woods will be in the field next time, as he was in 2024. Woods found the greens at Riviera difficult at last year’s event as he shot a one-over-par 72 in the first round.
“I struggled with the speed of the greens, even though I made a few. They were a lot faster than I’d ever seen at Riviera before, and also, I didn’t feel like I hit a lot of greens either.
“Missed a lot, and then was stressing out on the short game.”
