Hey guys, welcome back to Modern Golf. Hope you’re doing well. I am back behind all these bags, I promise you. One of the questions we get asked almost more than anything else on this channel are about Ghost Golf Bags. And so we have tested them all uh from the Weekender to the Any Day to the GT14. And I thought it was a good time to kind of go over really what our thoughts are. We’ve reviewed these for almost 2 years now. Some of them I wanted to kind of give you our very honest and candid opinions of what we really think of Ghost Golf and are their products even worth getting in 2025. So, when I first started this YouTube channel a couple of years ago, people were bugging me about you got to get your hands on this Ghost golf bag, um, the Anyday bag. And I I had kind of heard about Ghost. I had been familiar with other golf brands obviously, but really didn’t know what to think of Ghost. uh they looked like, you know, the same im the same imitation leather bag as some other brands and really one brand in particular that we noticed. And so I was very I’m going to be very honest, I was very apprehensive about even testing uh the Ghost Golf. I didn’t know really what to think of these golf bags at all. Uh I got my hands on one, which is the gray one, which we tested a couple years ago, and really enjoyed the golf bag. And so I’ve been testing all their golf bags. We’ve done again the Any Day uh to the Weekender to the GT14. And I thought again it was time to kind of explain we’ve beat these bags up. We’ve tested them so many times. How have they held up? Are they junk? Are they worth getting? Uh and really kind of where do we stand uh on the Ghost Golf Back. So, let’s first talk about the first style we did. And this is the Any Day bag. And and this bag, this happens to be the katana colorway for those who asking. This is the all black PU. has no fabric on it. And this is one of our favorite golf bags. We have used this bag, I think, as much as any other golf bag um that we’ve ever tested uh including any brand that you guys have seen on this channel and this particular colorway. Um I ordered this with our logo on here. But I want to kind of give you my feedback again of this bag. I’m not going to go over all the details of these bags cuz we don’t want this to be a 4hour review, but I want to go over the quality. What do I think? Have they held up? Have we had any issues? All that stuff. I’m going to be very honest with this. So, one of the things I like about Ghost is the top. And I think to be honest with you, if you tell me, Jeff, pick out your favorite 14-way golf top in golf this this year or even last year. Well, this year for sure, it’s this one. I like the way this is set up. I know a lot of people say, “Can you put your clubs in all these?” Um, I I have done this in the past, but you know, I like the putter pit. Um, I like how my really my driver, my 3-wood and my hybrid go. And then, oh, I have enough room for the 11 other clubs and my wedges at the bottom. What I like about this bag is I I know where to grab my eight iron. I know where to grab my pitching wedge. I know where to grab my 3-wood. Um, so the top I really like. It’s my favorite. It’s velour. Um, I know people don’t love uh this plastic handle. Again, it doesn’t bother me one bit. whatsoever. I think what Ghost has done with this golf bag in particular is put money where I think it matters for a lot of people. I don’t think this handle um is bad. I don’t think it’s, you know, it’s not leather wrapped like some others um or different materials. It’s rubber. It’s fine. My one knock, and I think you guys know where I’m going with this, is the storage side of things. and and and I understand, listen, in the middle of summer when I don’t carry a ton of stuff, um it’s fine, but as I’m heading into fall, it’s my only really knock. And again, I know then you would lose the aesthetic of this. Uh I just wish they could incorporate some type of little more storage. You know, when I’m putting in rain gear in my caddy um from pinned or I’m putting in rangefinders or I’m putting in, you know, my glove caddy or whatever it is, there’s an okay amount of storage, but not a ton. Um, but I understand it. And again, that’s where we get into the the cart bag. So, I won’t get give you all the boring details with this, but it has some great valuable pocket right here. Another pocket here, which is all your stuff, which is cooler lined. There’s another thing in here that’s also cooler lined. There’s water bottle holders here. Um, the straps are super comfortable. Again, I think this is one of the ultimate hybrid of golf bags. You know, can you walk with this? Yes, I have walked with these. Um, and I think we even showed it in the first one. When we did the gray one, I walked 18 holes with that thing on my shoulders, not in a push cart. Literally on my shoulders. And and it’s fine. People say, “What’s a heavy bag?” Again, it’s subjective. If you carry 62 golf balls um and carry the lightest golf bag there is, they all weigh about the same. But again, I like the features with this bag a lot. A huge valuable pocket here as well. Your ball pocket. Um we talked about the base. It’s rubber. They have their logo on it. Easy grab handle. And again, the other side is basically the same. So, if you’re a left-handed golfer, you can just flop these um straps around, and it’s super easy to use. So, let’s talk about quality first with this bag, and then we’ll get into the other ones as well. This bag has been as solid as any golf bag I’ve ever tested. Um, it is up there in probably the top two or three of the most hardy golf bags. I think the best quality golf bags. I know it gets some people knock it for the the look. Uh, I’ve heard Ghost is for younger people. I disagree. I like the look of Ghost bags. I think they’re very unique and very different. Um, but again, the quality has been fantastic. I mean, you can see I’ve got a couple smudge marks and stuff just from But I just clean these up every about every month when I use them, and it’s held up incredibly well. Uh, I ran into a guy not too long ago who had uh the all-white version, which I have on my wall. Um, and I asked him, and he doesn’t know me from anybody, but I asked him what he thought, and he loves his Ghost Golf bag, and he’s had his, I think, from day one or early on. Um, I can tell his was a couple years old or a few years old. But really, so if you’re concerned about the Any Day, it’s great. My only knock again would be the storage side of things. And if you’re riding a cart, who cares? You throw it in the basket and away you go. I really like the Katana um, and the Anyday bags, but it’s a great option. So, let’s say you want something a little smaller and we’re going to the next iteration of what they launched was the weekender bag. And this was a bag that I didn’t know what to even think of. Like, what am I going to do with this golf bag? I tested it. This in last year was my most used golf bag. I kid you not. When I go to indoor for Xolf, when I go to Club Champion to test things, u when I’m going to the range to practice, this bag gets more use than any other bag I own. Um, the quality is really off the charts good. Again, has a ton of pockets, ton of valuable pockets. Um, you can put a ton of stuff in these golf bags. Cooler line material in that pocket. Again, pockets in here, pockets in here, pockets in here. The only knock for this, and it’s really, it is what it is. Doesn’t stand up on its own. And that’s the only knock I would say I don’t like about this is it doesn’t stand up. It kind of looks again like a praying mantis to me when you put it down. has a single strap, does not have a double strap. Um, that some people knocked. The other thing I really like about this is you can use this little handle here and hook it onto another golf bag or a cart or anything really in particular that’s heavy that won’t tip over. Um, but I’ve loved this. Again, a neat little three-way top. I think I can fit I want to say eight clubs. I know some people say they put more in there. I think if you’re going to carry more than seven or eight clubs, just use a normal bag. But again, if you’re looking for a super lightweight, fun par three golf bag, um this is a great option. Again, I’ll show even show you. It has the lighter weight rain hood and storage. Um so, if you need, you know, a bag that really is going to be ideal for practicing or par threes and you want something that’s a little little cooler, a little different, um absolutely love this. And again, this is the Weekender um golf bag. Hey, we need an option for people who have more junk. to put in their golf bag. They carry 82 golf balls. Um they have nine pairs of rain of rain suits in there. What do we do? So last year they came out the GT14. It soared as one of the best golf bags in the industry by far. One of the knocks was these big logos. What I’m going to tell you is if you put this in a cart um besides a like a driving cart like electric cart or gas cart, these logos are hidden either by the person’s bag next to you or the way the golf cart kind of goes up. So, if you don’t like the look of these of these logos, which is fine. It’s subjective. Um, these kind of disappear. So, really all you see is this when it’s in the in the cart. I like the look. I like what Ghost has done. Uh, again, not the least inexpensive cart bag there is. It’s up there. But again, has a lot of great features. You know, pass through here, a ton of pockets, you I mean, this thing has a bazillion pockets, valuables here, huge pocket here, uh, with all kinds of stuff in here. Rain hood. I have my rain hood and and there’s just a ton of features with these golf bags. And again, we open this one up has the Ghost logo. I I will tell you this, um, Ghost doesn’t miss on many of their products. They’ve all been really high-end. Um, we if we talk to their golf talk about their golf gloves for a minute while I’m showing you guys this bag, if you’re looking to get a golf glove from Ghost and you’re on the fence and you’re not sure, I can I can tell you that I have a friend that I play with and we don’t see him all the time. He coaches and he travels all over the world. Um, and I saw him a couple weeks ago and he is still playing from the ghost glove I gave him. God, ghost golf glove. Say that a 100 times fast. A glove I gave him two years ago. um a leopard print one that he said he’s played 50 to 75 rounds and the thing holds up and he tells everybody about it. So anyway, so let’s get into this bag real quick. So let’s talk about this top again. Putter pit. I love the setup. Has this one has a little leather handle kind of that same PU material around the bag. If we flip this on the side again, we talked about the pass through the aluminum um hook for your whatever your rangefinder, your speakers, your towels, whatever you want, your gloves. There are some pen loops in here. A million pockets. Uh, valuable line for your rangefinder. And again, this is magnetic. So, if you want this on a electric cart or a push cart or electric push cart or electric caddy or buggy, whatever you want to call it, this works because this lifts up and you can get the straps in there and goes down. Again, a ton of storage. A huge cooler. And I don’t know if you guys can see how big this is, but literally a huge uh cooler pocket for your drinks or bottle of wine or whatever your champagne from your holein- one. A another huge ball pocket, great grab handle. Again, the Ghost logo and and what Ghost has done and I’m and telling you these guys, they get it. Rubber on all of these pieces. So, yes, you’re paying a premium price, but you’re getting a great golf bag. It’s pretty much the same. I don’t know if they’re all the valuable pockets are the same. Yeah, I think they are on this one. Um, and again, the quality on this has been fantastic. I’ve used this bag, I would say, 25 times, and it still looks like the day I got it. And if you haven’t watched any of our videos, we show how to clean most of these bags. Pretty quick. Uh, we showed initially one of our new earliest videos, uh, where we cleaned a golf bag in about 4 minutes. Super easy. Lexol, warm water. Uh, take a dabber brush, clean up, wipe it off, and these things look brand new. So, and yes, I wouldn’t say you have to um use a card strap, but what Ghost has done here, as you can see with this plastic piece, that’s to help it gets it kind of it stands off the bag. So, the strap really never hits this material so much. It hits more of this plastic. So, these guys have kind of thought about everything. It’s a great a great golf bag. So, with all that said, would I suggest a ghost golf bag to anybody? Again, almost 500 bucks, 400 bucks, two something. Not inexpensive golf bags. Um, I think they’re as good as anything that’s out in the market, high-end. I I’m not going to get into name dropping today. You guys know, you know, the brands that are out there. Fantastic bag. Again, the Any Day is my favorite top in golf by far. Um, I just, it’s just an easy. It’s a little bigger than some. It’s not huge. Uh, clubs go in and out. I don’t get a lot of club tangle with it. you. I never get people complaining about Club Tango with any of these bags. Well, this one maybe a little bit, but it’s a little smaller of a golf bag. But yes, I highly recommend all of Ghost products. And again, I’m talking even their gloves, their clothing. Everything they do is it’s high-end. It’s not it’s not a gimmicky brand. Uh this isn’t like, well, we just put a cute little Ghost logo on here and the stuff is junk. This is really high-end, high quality stuff. So, if you’re on the fence about getting Ghost, uh, by all means, you will not be disappointed at all. I would say the only knock I’ve really ever had with the golf bag, and this is early on from the first iteration was these uh poles were a little different, and so I had to swap mine out. I think this is one of the original ones because you would pull sometimes they would bend. I know they’ve changed that, but again, that’s about the only issue I’ve ever had with any of their golf bags. And again, this thing, the little weekender, got a ton of use last year. Still gets a good amount of use this year. Um, but again, all these bags get tested and a lot of use, especially this guy. This had this katana may have 75 rounds on it. It’s that much of use. Um, and again, you can get card traps from these guys or sleeves so you don’t ruin this. And I highly recommend it. But yes, to answer a long story question that I get asked almost daily, do I like Ghost and would I recommend it? Yes and yes. Uh, again, I think in the top three in the industry, I think they’re great. If you find the color way you like and the aesthetic you like, these are fantastic golf bags, all three of them. Um, I know they have other things, uh, as I say, in the pipeline, uh, that I think will be very exciting for them and for us coming, I think, fall and winter. But yes, I would highly suggest if you’re looking for a Ghost bag, I have zero trepidation about suggesting any of them. So anyway guys, just thought I’d do a wrap-up of a couple years of Ghost and what we like and what we don’t like.
