Scottie Scheffler wins the 153rd Open Championship at Royal Portrush but what clubs was he using. I was surprised to find how old his clubs were. He is not a golfer who plays the most up to date equipment. I guess being the world number 1 you can use whatever clubs you choose.

Right, we’re on. Scottish Shefflers just won the Open, the 153rd Open Championship at Royal Port Rush in Northern Ireland. What a win. That was unbelievable. Now, we’re going to talk just today just about what’s in Scotty’s bag. What equipment was Scotty using when he won the Open. I was so surprised at Scotty’s press conference at the start of the week, and I’m sure everybody else was. Um, there’s two minutes of joy once you’ve won the competition. Um, I get it. you know, he’s he’s got other things in his life. And you watched him walk off that 18th green. So, he holds the putt, he cheers to the crowd, he takes his hat off walking up the 18th at shoulder high, you know, it’s there’s no big waving around. He holds the putt on 18 and it’s like done. My work’s over for the week. That’s fine. No huge celebrations, not jumping for joy. It’s not like he’s it’s not like he’s won the open. But then he sees his his little son, his son comes walking towards him. All of a sudden, the hat’s off. It’s thrown in the air and you could see what means most to him. Sharing that win with his family is just a huge thing for him. Very, very different from Tiger. The Tiger era of, you know, pointing fingers and fist pumping and getting the crowd bumped up. He Scottish Sheffer is very much at work and that’s his approach to it. His demeanor is incredible. He will win a lot more. He will I think he will win the Grand Slam. Everybody else has to raise their game. You look at likes of Rory against him. Rory was good all week. I think it was the fourth green or fifth green Rory missed like an eight iron to the right of the green. Sheffller’s not doing that. Scotty’s just not doing that. He doesn’t make mistakes. He’s so clinical. Boring golf wins tournaments. He hit fairway. He hit greens. And when he hits greens, he just holds putts. It’s just incredible. If he misses greens, he up and downs it. He’s his power at the rough is unbelievable. Um just just what a guy. Anyway, so we’re here to talk about what clubs he has. What did Scotty have in the bag when he won the Open Championship? Well, I’ve got it up on the screen here. Let’s start with Driver. I think this is quite controversial. And the reason I say that is because it’s not the newest model. It’s not the newest Tailor Made model. Tailor Made kind of don’t like that. They like you to use all the latest gear because they’re trying to sell it. But you know what? As far as I’m concerned, if I work for Tailor Made and he’s using a club that says Tailor Made on it, happy. He used the Tailor Made Qi10 in 8° of loft set at 8.25. That’s very precise. Swing weight was D4 Fujakura Ventus Black 7X shaft in 45 in. So, you know, that’s pretty much stand. It’s probably a little bit shorter than standard, I think, on on the rack. If you buy one off the rack, it’s probably 46 in trying to get it longer to give the the consumer more distance. Um, a lot of guys on tour have a 3-wood shaft in their driver, as we know, because they hit the middle of the face more. And hit the middle of the face more, it’s going to go further. It’s going to be more accurate. So, they bring the shaft length down slightly. I think Scotty probably has done a little bit with that. Moving on here, his 3-wood, again, controversial. Qi35, no Qi 10 in 15° set at 14.75. Very precise, Scotty. So, set just under the 15° situation situation. Um, and a D3 swing weight. The shaft in that Aventus Black AX 42 and 516 in tipped at 1.5 in. When you tip a shaft, when you take bits off the tip, it gets stiff. Now, Scottish chef, as we know, is a tailor made guy. So, controversial, the fact he’s not using the Qi35. Controversially, he’s not he’s using older favorwood as well. And wait till you hear this tailor made guy. His irons, his three iron and his four iron are stricken. So, he’s got the stricken ZU85 and a three and four iron packed with lead tape on the back. I am on golfworks.com website here and I’m just explaining this to you guys. You can go there and you get everything which is great. So I thought we’d just bring it to you guys. Why not? Scotty’s just won the open. Um so his his long irons is three and four are stricksen. I wonder what the situation with um tailor made actually is there. I know like Ping for example, Ping have a contract that is pretty much a 14 club contract. You need to use the lot. Um Ping want you playing Ping. I thought Tailor Maid were kind of like that. when you become the number one in the world, I guess there’s a little bit more leeway that you can kind of push it a little bit and say, “Do you know what? I’d quite like to play that, but everything else yours, okay, Scotty, you’re world number one. Just okay, let’s do that.” Um, and also the ball and we come to the ball, it’s a similar sort of idea. Uh, the rest of his irons. So, but the likes of like Wilson, for example, Wilson have like a nine club and sometimes even just a seven club contract. So, if you’re using seven of their irons, you can use anything else. nine of their clubs you can use anything else which kind of I think frees things up and I al also wondered often wondered why aren’t manufacturers or no why aren’t players on tour using more different things that suit them. Um, so if you imagine you had imagine you had no contract and you wanted to use Cleveland wedges, um, Odyssey putter, stricks and irons, tailor made long irons, um, ping driver and cobra fairwood and something else, different bag, different ball. That would be great. And I think it would share the market and you could have a golf bag with all those logos on it would share the market. It would boost everything. But Tommy Fleetwood mentioned in a video with Rick Shields that he’s tailor made. So he’s tailor made through the bag and the thing is tailor made keep an eye on you. So it’s like the way it was described by Tommy Fleetwood was it’s like it’s like a Formula One setup. So Formula One are looking at the car. They look at everything that that’s going on and they do the same with the golf club. So they monitor every shot. Tailor made monitor Tommy Fleetwoods every shot everything. And they can go to him in like every month and say you know I think we need to put more bounce on your wedge for the courses that you’re playing. I think we need to change the loft on your irons. I think we need to alter such and such. to change grip thickness. So, they keep an eye on that. And I think that is the value of being with one brand. Well, that’s what Tommy Fleetwood said was the value of being with one brand. I like the idea of being able to use two or four brands, but you can see how well you’re looked after if you are loyal to that brand. You really are in that Formula 1. Um, you’re in the pits with them, you know, they really looking after you. So, six and irons, long irons, um, five to pitching edge, tailor made P7TWS, so the Tiger Woods blade. Um the shafts in them are Nippon NS Pro modus 3. That’s a hybrid prototype. So that’s the shaft in the Shrixen irons. And then the tailor made irons is a true temper dynamic gold two isue X100 that’s in the four to wedge. So sorry, his strikes three iron is the nippon uh motor shaft and everything else the strixen 4 iron and the five to pitching wedge in the tailor made P7 TWWs are true tempered dynamic gold two issue X100s um that’s a stiff shaft wedges so again so the tailor made guy that uses irons the older older driver the older failwood um and now his wedges are vuler vuling SM8 eight 50 with 12 degrees of bounce F grind 56 with 14° F grind and a 60 with 60° K grind so tightless wedges stricks and long irons tailor made irons tailor made old driver old fairway wood it’s incredible shafts in the wedges are true temper dynamic gold two issue S400 so slightly softer than these irons that’s typical on tour um get a little bit more loft a softer club and then his putter a tailor made spider 2x how much money is that one him I bet Rory is raging at the fact that he explained, “Scotty, you should go to a a mallet putter.” Bit is regretting that comment now, isn’t he? Terid Tour Spider 2 X. Um, the hos neck. The length 35.5 in. That’s quite long. Tall guy though. Um, sight line is a true path with full line. Loft is 3° and the lie angle 72 degrees. That has won him a lot of money. The grip on that is a tour velvet and his golf ball back to tightless tightless pro V1. And that’s what Scottish Heffler used when he won the open championship, the 153rd Open Championship at Royal Port Rush. Next year open championship, got written on the wall there, we’re go to Royal Bartdale, then we’re off to St. Andrews, then we’re off to Mirfield. I’m going to go to Mirfield for the entire seven days because I live close to that. And I’ll see you in my next video. Bye-bye.

  1. What is the number one Nemesis in golf? The double-cross!
The Procedural Technique is a practice in which several variables must be observed. They involve changing some fundamentals and will change golf because of one word that has been misconstrued, leading to the MISCONCEPTION of the golf swing. This application reduces the energy needed when striking the ball and makes aligning the ball intuitive. This always requires a 'move' which, when 'working the ball', will never result in the double-cross, ensuring an intended line, enabling a confident result in ball placement necessary for consistency. Once the PT is revealed, it is easily understood, and fully learning it at the practice range, and then taking it to the course, is an exercise in confidence. It becomes knowledgeable information that is always applicable, and once known, practice becomes a thing of the past. I am hesitant to reveal this information because of the enormous amount of time and energy spent, only to repeatedly, fall short due to the MISCONCEPTION. There is a certain satisfaction knowing I'm the only one who knows this and it will reevaluate how the golf swing is taught. Oh, and for most of us, you can say goodbye to left knee injuries Âż`_

https://youtu.be/dR7Zyz5E8Ao?si=UoB7mgLAIbZhrzka This is an example of the MISCONCEPTION of the golf swing due to the misunderstanding of one word. Learn this swing, you will fall victim to the double-cross, and you will be left scratching your head each time it rears its ugly head, and it will. The PT is the secret to understanding how to avoid the MISCONCEPTION—which requires a methodology ¿`_

In the context of overcoming a MISCONCEPTION, a methodology would involve a structured and systematic approach to:

    ‱ Identifying the MISCONCEPTION.

‱ Understand its origins and underlying reasons.

‱ Develop strategies or interventions to address it.

    ‱ Implement these strategies.

‱ Evaluate their effectiveness in correcting the MISCONCEPTION ¿`_

  2. Taylor Made will be having a fire sale on Qi35 clubs next year, with the number one and two players in the world on their staff and snubbing them. What a nightmare for them, and the fact Scheffler is playing Srixon long irons and Titleist wedges isn't a good look either. This is a big advantage LIV golfers have for the most part, they don't generally have club sponsors and can play whatever suits them.

  3. Scheffler is the most boring man in sport. Single handedly killing golf by having no star quality, no charm, no personality and no entertainment factor.
No one is tuning in to watch Scheffler do anything. He is beige personified.
