Titleus makes three models of golf balls in the Prov1 family that you’ve probably never heard of. So, let’s talk about it. Everyone’s heard of the Prov1 and the Prov1X. The Prov1 is their mid- trajectory, low driver spin ball that has a soft feel. The Prov1X is their high trajectory, higher spin ball that has a slightly firmer feel. Now, some people have heard of the Prov1 Left Dash, which is available to the public. This ball’s designed to maximize speed off the tea. It’s a mid- trajectory ball that’s designed to have very little spin. This is a great ball for very high swing speed players. Now, the balls you probably haven’t heard of are the Prov1 Left Dot, the Prov1 Star, and the Prov1 X Plus. Left Dot Prov1. Probably my longest standing piece of equipment in the bag is that ball. It’s designed to have the lowest trajectory and lowest spin out of all the golf balls while still having the same soft feel and green side performance as the Prov1. The Prov1 Star is played by Cory Connors. This ball is designed to launch lower but have higher spin on full swings and around the greens. The last ball is the Prov1X Plus, which has been played by Justin Rose, Billy Horchel, and Zack Johnson. Titus describes the Prov1X Plus as a soft Prov1X with spin. It has a soft feel and generates higher spin numbers. Unfortunately, the Prov1 Left Dot, Star, and Provo 1X Plus are all tour only. But if you had access to all these golf balls, which ball do you think would be the best for your game?
